He is far better and more informative as a boxing poster and analyst than you will ever be. :good His power is over-rated. That arm-punching just doesn't cut it. He could have much more power had he improved his technique or unloaded more. :dead
If Corrie Sanders staggered Vitali and had him running all over the ring, while dropping him (It wasn't a slip let's be honest. Vitali was hurt big time and flopped like a fish). Then Max Schmeling, one of the most scientific, intelligent, and ring savvy champions of all time at his best, would find and expose one of the billion flaws of Vitali has. Vitali seems to break the mold as dealing with these huge technical flaws. But, of course, his opposition, awkwardness, and physical advantages seem to be enough to cover this up. Yet his fanboys persistently object that Vitali has great defense. The lean-forward and lean-back defense is of course wonderful. His ability to sense punches and control range. Against who! He looks like a deer in the headlights when he gets hurt and staggered. Yet his chin and ability to recover is lavished. It's ridiculous. Schemling at his best more times than not beats Vitali. Vitali has to get lucky with big shots, not Schemling. Max as far too smart and too good to not expose Vitali's major weaknesses. Everyone lavished and brag about how he looked against Arreola but Arreola plods slower than a 48 year old Foreman. And really, a 48 year old Foreman is still better than Arreola. Much much more power - and a better chin along with having more range, much tighter and stronger defense. .2 MPH and chasing straightforward won't beat Vitali. Even his sloppy movement and arm-punching can allow him to get away with it. He still had some moments of bothering Vitali. Anyone with real pressure and ability would destroy him. Frazier would eat him up.
Vit was DROPPED by Cornelius Johannes Sanders - no doubt about it. Ref chumped that call. Vit looked exactly like Wlad during that entire sequence. These are not EXTRAORDINARY big athletes. They are okay. They are good. They are decent. They are better than their comp. They are the best of the current bunch. But, they are far from EXCEPTIONAL talents.
Are we talking about alledged KD's now? Versus verifiable real KD's that Louis endured via cruiserweights? You ****ers are a deluded bunch of fancy gents. Enjoy your little circle jerk of unreality. I have to wake up tomorrow and go to an actual gym.
I'm glad this thread has kicked some ass, but Jesus, I think the whole "Louis-Klit" thing needs to head to its grave-site........ Let's bury the hatchet....... Personally, I still think V.K. takes Louis in a time machine........ V.K. is no fraud or "Paper" champ.... V.K. is for real.......... Cheerio....... MR.BILL
:happy Vitali was a deer in the headlights and staggered awfully bad. He flopped so hard, of course it wasn't a slip or non-knockdown. It was clear he was seriously hurt. Again, Sanders doesn't impress me as a fighter. He was near 40, 10+ pounds from the Wlad fight and people act as if Vitali is a dominant champion that hardly ever loses a round. Yes, Vitali is fairly dominant against a terrible crop and with a horrid resume. But he's been down, hurt badly, and looked very awful in sequences. Sanders repetition was built out of icing Wlad, and not terribly difficult to crack at that chin. Now, Wlad is the most cautious fighter on the planet. Wlad, though, is much more athletically gifted than his brothers. For Vitali, good thing the round ended. Ah, Seamus is now turning in the tired, old, tough guy. You going to start bragging about your bench press now? I don't know how old you are but I bet I can nearly match your max. I'm just the next era. More evolved, better nutrition and better technique. Sorry
Jack Sharkey would definitely have taken a fight with Vitally Klitschko because he fought anybody at any time. It was one of his major weakneses. I picked Jack Sharkey as a 205 lb fighter who would have the tools and style to expose the limitations of Vitally Klitschko's style. Granted he could probably find a way to loose but if he had a steady head on his shoulders then he would have a good shot to win. You mentioned Max Schmeling earlier. While I am not quite sure how Schmeling would fare against Vitally I believe that he would absolutely butcher Wladamir. I am not saying this based on the difference in durability but based on the fact that I think that he had the ideal style to land counters on him. Vitally's defence has been sucesfull in this era in large part because he has been up against limited fighters who did not have the techniques to counter it and were not willing to take punishment to land their own shots. A guy like Sharkey or Schmeling would know how to explot Vitallys technical weakneses and would not mind getting their face busted up badly in the first round to do it.
