I understand there's a thin line sometimes that's easily crossed when we really like a fighter...

well roy did what he had to do he never fought hopkins but he did face tarver and there are guys that just have your number Tarver is one screwed him up badly and he had to take a minute to get his mind right.



If he (Floyd)dosent fight shane by 2012 then i will frown upon him but right now Pac may be retiring he needs to fight him. Even after cotto beats him. Then he needs to fight cotto we waited 4 years for this one. And then fight mosely after a tune up bout. Mayweather wants Pacquiao. That is the single biggest fight that can be made in boxing. Arum is already being a dickhead about it, but maybe the men in the ring will tell him where to park his cantankerous old arse. Fight should simply go at a 50/50 split. Watch for Floyd to await the outcome of Pac-Cotto (no sure thing for Pac, BTW) and go from there. I am a huge Mosley fan and I don't recall any of the typically irrational PBF haters questioning Shane for not accepting multiple challenges from Floyd in the past. Why now? Because Floyd has become the biggest draw in the sport (4 - 5 million PPV buys in his last three fights?) and Shane knows a likely decision loss is no disgrace to a fighter the calibre of Floyd - and he can line his bank account nicely in the bargain. That's why. I would welcome a bout between PBF and Mosley. For damn sure it would be competitive, and Shane has the power and speed to trouble Floyd. But people also need reminding that Shane lost to Cotto and struggled mightily before a late KO against a washed up Mayorga in his two bouts prior to smoking Margocheater. No sense in losing sight of the fact that without concrete wraps Margarito became an even more average fighter, tailor-made for a man with Shane's speed, skill, and chin. I would also like to see PBF fight the winner of Pac-Cotto. There are some great options out there for Mayweather. But why waste our time trying to talk sense to the blind haters? Mayweather can fight and beat Cotto, Pacman, and Mosley on the same night and all we would then hear is that Cotto was ruined by Margo, Pacman was too small, and Mosley was over the hill. That crap is as predictable as death and taxes. Let me save the usual suspects the trouble by stating all the garbage rhetoric right now - up front.
