It's common knowledge that Mayweather pursued Mosley earlier in his career - and publicly offered him a fight a couple of years ago. Mosley apparently had a "camping trip", planned by his wife, to attend. Not to belittle Shane in any way - I wouldn't argue with that woman either.

I picked Floyd to knock him out in the 10th, However I did say it would be a good fight up until then.... I was wrong, but I also was basing that on the idea that Floyd would make the 144 contracted weight, I knew comming down that low he would lose something.

He didnt come down, he paid, I think the truth is he couldnt get lower than 146 even if he wanted to, after a two year lay off, then a camp being disrupted with a rib injury it only makes sense he couldnt come down to 144.

if he did not make the weight to have an advantage he is a ****, I give him the benifit of the doubt here, I really think at his age it will be hard to come down that low again. Especially when you consider he has been at welter and or above for about five or six years.

But had he come down in weight, he would have been a little weakend by it, and thats what would have made the fight more of a fight.

Good to know family life is treating you well.:good Yeah I know what you mean, these idiots can be too much at times. You hit them with proof all day and all they do is spin.

Most people here picked PBF to win but said JMM would give him a good fight. They never could have imagined it would have been that one-sided. Most of these clowns know that no one in the sport can beat PBF but won't admit it out of hate. I'm hoping he takes on the winner of Pac-Cotto next.:D

Who said I lived in a mansion? We have a very nice home - of that there is no doubt. Pimp C would be welcome to stop by for a brew and intelligent boxing discussion any time. :deal

"Cleaning toilets"? Pretty demeaning comment. Does it suggest that you're getting your sorry ass handed to you again because you deal only in blind hatred, and not in logic or fact? :rofl

Oh I knew that already... the man was as whooped as they come. His excuse after the Collazo fight was that he couldn't fight PBF because of a toothache and he needed some vacation time. :patsch As if 5 to 6 months isn't enough vacation time for you. Talk about Mayweather having no balls, Shane couldn't even stand up to his wife.

Sorry. Two pounds did not make or break that fight. Mayweather never imposed his size on Marquez at all. In that regard size didn't play a major role. Speed, skill, and historically great defense dictated the outcome. PBF may have been at WW for several fights, but he never weighed more than 150 at the bell for any of those fights (including the one at 154 against Oscar). He's a small WW at best. I thought it would be more competitive in the early going, but that was likely the best Mayweather ever to set foot in a ring - perhaps bested only by the version that destroyed (a bigger) Diego Corrales. No-one who thinks fairly can deny what he did in the Marquez fight. Could have taken some more chances to get a stoppage, but maybe he wanted the rounds after being off for so long. And JMM is a tough SOB who has never been stopped.

You cant say that for sure becuase Floyd never made the weight, had he made the weight and the fight turned out the same then you could say that, but as it stands now I dont agree, those two pounds would have been hard for Floyd to take off, he looked ill at the weigh in.....
