Theres no big names for him to fight but there are some half decent fighters there for him to face. He could pick off 2-3 of them, prove his worth and build himself up. Soon enough some big name will move up to face him.

Johnson IS a top 175 who would probably beat Pascal (hell i think a motivated Tarver could too..)
ANd Adamek is a Bum (right?) who won a cruiserweight belt after Dawson EASILY beat him.

Yall boys don't know man, Dawsons resume shits on every name you dropped (Pascal, Cloud, all those guys). Dawson is one of the few true champs in boxing, a guy who is thoroughly cleaning out his weight division, and if it means gettin rid of a few grandpas thats what he's doing. He'll fight winner of RJJ-Hopkins next, for his biggest payday and after that he can deal with the Clouds of the world, or as mentioned can make his climb up to cruiser.

 

Ya i think he's doing pretty well. I'd prefer it if he stays where he is and doesn't move up to Cruiser. If he cleans out his division he'll start to get recognition.

 

This is exactly what Dawson should do.

If he can't get the winner of Jones Hopkins then he should take out the rest of the trash @ 175 and wait for the winner of the 168lb Tournament.

Its funny how no one here even MENTIONS Zsolt Erdai or the WBA champ. Even Sturm got more recognition as a potential opponent for middleweights.
