Floyd vs Shane is THE fight we want to see. The poll score tells the story. Floyd hasn't fought lower than 10st 6lbs for years now, and Shane is the consensus no.1 in the world at that weight. Give up with the boring old dog**** about ppv numbers and other excuses, and ****ing get it on!!

The past is very relevant. You can't have someone doing bull**** like Shane and then say "forget the past" because it's convenient for your argument. The past is very relevant to this discussion because it shows how deeply hypocritical Shane and his Anti-Mayweather Army can be...

Where was this thread four months ago when Shane was being called out by Paul and he just flat out said "No" and instead he tried to shamelessly chase Pac around for money?????

You can't disregard the pat no matter how convenient it is for your argument.

The thought of this fight not happening makes me feel sick, what a shitty state of affairs.

Floyd is held to a higher standard considering he is suppose to be the best fighter in the world. You can't call him the best of this era or the best p4p right now if he doesn't fight guys his own size or challenges himself.

Shane is the best ww in the world. Floyd is now a ww, and has been for years. Why don't you want to see the more defensively skilled fighter in the world take on one of the most offensively skilled fighters in the world at a weight they are both comfortable at? It would be two HOF names colliding, two P4P ranked stars in the ring, a huge fight and a great fight. I will never understand why anyone does not want this. :-(

How many times do I have to say it. I'm not against the fight. I want hit to face the winner of Pac-Cotto first.

When Vitali came back was he the champ:think No he wasnt in fact his brother took the #1 spot and got that by unifying with Ibragimov.

Sorry but Mosley is the #1 guy and is about to unify as well.... meaning he will be the champ when he beats berto...

    19 idiots here

Pac-Cotto is November. Floyd last fought last month, and doesn't have another fight lined up. Mosley-Berto could easily be cancelled, no sweat, it's not exactly Leonard-Hagler.

Let Pac fight Cotto in Nov, Mosley-Mayweather in Jan or Feb, then the two winners fight in summer 2010.

    Nah?

Pac is trying to fight as soon as possible one last time in the spring he's getting into to politics after that so this summer is out of the question.
