Overweight Solis knocks out Barrett in 2 (GIF)

Im going for Monte on this one. Ive always respected the guy. He was never going to be champion, but when he is serious he can give a good fight, and he has fought everyone in the business.

I hope he ****s Solis up. 271 pounds of Cuban lard

 

Well he looked in terrible shape at the press conference yesterday.I expected a high weight.

His belly ws pressing hard against his shirt.

Solis is a joke Kevin Johnson would have knocked him out I have no doubt Solis has one of those fragile Cuban Glass Jaws.

 

Monty Barrett is pretty good, if he was a bit bigger framed he would be a top 5 IMO, hope he wins, I liked the look of Solis but it seems he doesnt give a **** so hope Monty beats him

Give me a hard working guy like Barrett anyday of the week. He trains hard, comes to fight, and shows up in shape. He lacks some talent when compared to others, but his heart is definitely there. A guy like Solis (as well as guys like Arreola) could take note.

 

Odlanier Solis has a lot of talent but 271? He was an Olympic heavyweight gold medalest. Olympic heavyweight means 200 which means crusierweight. He may be the most skilled heavyweight in the world. (I'm not saying that he is.) but he is not going to win a world tittle even in this eara if he coutunes to be out of shape. A win over Monte Barrett who is a good but not a great boxer would not change my point of view.

He doesn't look 270 there. He looks more fit than Arreola, and he's shorter. I mean, he still looks fat, but not 270.

 

Strange. Solis doesn't look as fat as Arreola on that pic, but still almost 20lb more ?

 

More muscle than Arreola perhaps? Muscle does weigh more than fat after all...
