If the super 6 was propsed 2 years ago doesn anyone think JC would have entered?

I personally dont!! I cant imagine JC wanting to ruin his fradulent legacy by fighting live opponents...

A win against Kessler, a lucky SD against Bhop and a circus freak show against RJJ is hardly the stuff of legends!

His track record for injury during training? Wouldn't bode well for the scheduling...

Two years ago? Probably no. He was looking to finish his career with a couple of marquee names like BHop or RJJ on his resume and he wouldn't have found them in the Super Six. The risk was too high and the reward not what Calzaghe wanted.

If you go back five years, maybe yes. Calzaghe was struggling to make a name for himself and this would have been the perfect opportunity. Plus, he's always been confident in his abilities and would have backed himself to walk this tournament.

Why (if Kessler is widely regarded as the best in there) would he be 'scared' or something of any of them??? nahh i dont think so.

He beat Kessler, beat Hopkins, by what should have been a UD...who's he going to be afraid of? The only question would be whether the money would be enough.

Calzaghe fought and beat the best fighter in the super six, why would he be afraid of the other lesser fighters?

Damn straight! As I said, Calzaghe was all about the legacy towards the end of his career and in twenty years time, Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins sound far more impressive on the resume than Andre Dirrell and Carl Froch.
