Why does Floyd likes to portray himself as a gladiator, a warrior or a gangster?

Floyd likes to portray himself as gladiator, warrior or gangster because all these are tough hombres with a fight til they die mentality which is exciting to people in general. Floyd needs to portray himself as one of these because his fights makes people sleepy. What's the use if you keep winning fights but people dont come to watch your fights.

 

1. Floyd wore the sombrero and the mexican shorts because it was cinco de mayo
2. The "hitman" cover of the Ring was an obvious allusion to Thomas Hearns' cover (fellow Michigan native)
3. and ditto for the Gladiator entrance, an ode to Hector Camacho


my question is, why does Floyd occupy so much of your mind buxzer??? seriously, i can understand disliking the man, but please let the hatred go buxzer!

 

Floyd was mocking Mexican boxing fans on Cinco De Mayo, he wasn't trying to be a 'mexican warrior.' 'mexican warrior' is such a played out term and is quickly becoming a tiresome cliche especially with so many them warriors taking humiliating beatings as of late. Floyd is a businessman and with his antics keeps haters like you buyin his PPVs in hopes of seeing him lose.

 

Whatever he is doing it makes him money obviously so i wouldnt stop doing it...the haters like buxzer and farmboxer gonna hate even if he fought a klitchko....posters like that dont know to much about the sport n u can tell from their posts..

He never got out boxed badly like Pavlik did. He hasn't been brutalized like Cotto was. He just has a big mouth, and he doesn't brawl to get you excited. Some of the hate is warranted as he should fight a top ww, sww or mw, but the stylistic complaints fall on deaf ears to true boxing fans. Nobody gives a **** what Bandeedo says when his hero Cotto was ktfo lol... We don't care what a Pav fans says who clearly has an agenda since his hero lost to a great old man-and color isn't the agenda, it's the fact that your hero lost and that you PAv fans gave us excuses when he lost...
