I'm not too sure really. De Gale looks to be fighting within himself at the moment. Unless the divisions are really weak then I would not bet on any of them being a world champion. Although the WBO route may well be open to them all. I would say Cleverly at the moment, although he needs to up his game to reach decent European / WBO level.

    Super Middle?

I'd like to change my pick of him being the best Olympic prospect then. He has a decent level of power but nothing great. At middleweight or light middle...fine.

Super Middle is too big, his power wont carry and he is not some slick boxer. Imagine him trying to wear down the bigger guys in the division and the shots he'll have to take on the way in.

    Thanks.

It was really interesting to listen to Harry Hawkins (Bernard Dunnes trainer) the other night at the buncelive show in Belfast. Harry was making the point about how much pressure Bernard put on himself i.e. he felt that he was fighting for the nation and didnt want to let anyone down etc. Harry also, pointedly, said to Rogie, who was in attendance, that this type of pressure is something that he will be managing, now that hopes are on big Rogie to do the is business.

Rogie and Dunne are experienced operators and it has to be tough for those guys to manage pressure and expectations, so we can only imagine what it is like for the young upcoming guys like the Olympians.

I think there is more to come from De Gale, but really we don't know until he is in there with the top opponents. I havent been blown away with Cleverly, not sure if he has what it takes at the highest level, and hope he takes his time. Bellew v Cleverly would be an intriguing fight next year, if they can make that match.

Don't think much of BJS at all. Never have to be honest. Watt made a pont that I made months ago in that you could forget that he was a southpaw because he doesnt use it to his advantage when fighting these dopey opponents. As for his power, early days but it doen't look that promising

He looks like he should be at 154lbs maximum but then he is only 18/19 so his body will be growing. Without sufficient discipline he could end up permanetly at SMW and if thats the case not even Warren will be able to manufacture a long career for him

I think you all make good points, I do feel there is some talent there though. I guess we'll have to wait and see if he can dedicate himself properly.

Frankie Gavins been a standout for me. He's definately the best technically IMO, though he isnt heavy handed and hasn't been remotely tested yet.

    Slightly underestimating them eh?

I expect all of them to reach Euro level at least really.
