Is Jones really that washed up to be considered a threat to Hopkins?

Jones is not the Jones back in the day, but I think he can still, and will give Hopkins a problem. Both these guys fought Calzaghe, and both were able to score a knock down early in the fight, and both of them still lost. Jones looked dame good aganist Jeff Lacy as Hopkins did against Pavlik. I know both these men are up there in age, but both still have talent and a long over due match that needs to be fought. So my question again is do ESB think jones is washed up?

I give Jones a very good chance against Bhop washed up or not He will give Bhop a hell of a fight i feel even though I got Bhop winning by UD its not out of the realm to think that RRJ cant decision Bhop at this stage in his career considering Bhop is no spring chicken either..

They're both past their primes but they're still better than 80% of the guys out there. I think Roy still has enough to beat Bernard.

Yes Jones is washed up, he already lost his power and they say the last thing you lose is your power.

Jones brings NO threat at all for BHOP. I just don't see how people STILL give Jones a chance at the elite level.

That is true, but both of them beat the crap out of younger men, one being in his mid 20s, and the other in his earlier 30s. Which shows that they can still hang with the youngsters.

B-hops style and fight pace suits Jones perfectly and Roy's handspeed could be the key once again .

Jones has no Chin and no heart. Hopkins is going to shatter that Glass Jaw and put a nail in the coffin for the myth of Roy Jones.

Hopkins is going to carry Jones. He'll win, but they might set a Compubox record for fewest punches thrown in a fight.
