i think people are being a bit sensitive here, obviously it takes a degree of heart to get in front of people and fight, or to even fight professionally at all. its also obvious that arturo gatti has more "heart" than say, bruce seldon. just answer the question and stop trying to act like mother teresa in here.

Who you calling a nancy you soft ****? You call professional fighters for having little or no heart you *****. Get in and walk a mile in their shoes tough internet boy. Its hard enough fighting, let alone getting in there when you know your less talented than your opponent and probably gonna get a beating. I'm up for discussing every form and discussion on boxing but not any that challenge a professional fighters lack of balls. Its a contradiction in terms. :bbb

You could make a good case for Vitali Klitschko.

I'm not yelling, I'm disagreeing with you, tit. And putting gloves on doesn't count, you've got to hit someone with them other than your Bob the Builder inflatable.

Here we go again with the Tyson crap. Every fighter who ever fought ate some monster shots and kept fighting for a while.

    Tyson never finished a war..Period.
He quit against Holyfield because he knew canvas time was coming again.
Why do you people insist on building this clown up like he was a warrior or something..

Bottom line, when he took punishment he folded like a little *****. Mentally weak as any fighter I ever saw.

I agree with Teddy Atlas on Holyfield-Tyson II..... that Tyson fouled himself out of the fight because he knew he was losing.

Tyson actually said on Oprah very recently he bit Holyfield because Holyfield was butting "and because I was pissed off because he's such a great fighter and I needed to beat him" (or something like that), admitting that Holyfield's superiority as a fighter made him crack.
He also apologised and admitted his earlier apologies had been insincere.

I like Mike Tyson. His honesty and perspective he's beginning to express actually puts the mad rantings and excuse-making of his nuthuggers to shame.

Still, I would never say Tyson had little or no heart. He was mentally weak though, he's obviously a sensitive emotionally-fuelled person. Not the best mentality to be a great fighter.
