I'd watch it. I would like to see Shaq embarressed, mainly to go some way towards silencing the kind of people that think that any athletic basketball/football player would KO Wlad.

that's my point. this sort of **** intrigues me but it can hurt the sport and make it a circus act. this isn't a tough man competition. this isn't a film like AWOL or bloodsport.

these are genuine athletes with unrivalled skilled that isn't picked up overnight.

i think when guys like Brock, Lashley, Kimbo etc are brought into the sport their background needs to be explained even more. Brocks wrestling background is talked about but maybe it needs to be talked about until they are blue in the face. Even Kimbo, he knows a bit of boxing, he must've picked it up from somewhere. people hate on him because he is a street fighter but he when it came to boxing in back gardens he knew what he was doing.

If your referring to when Barkley was on the rockets and he threw the ball at Shaq then Shaq went after him a bit he hardly got his ass kicked. It wasn't much of a fight just a lil scuffle.

maybe....He's not as aggressive as he used to be...so anything can happen.

kinda like sapp... Sapp never had any skills but there used to be a time when he would still take advantage of his size and try to hurt his opponents. (see his fight vs Hoost or Nogueira , abidi )...not anymore.

I remember Barclay with the full mount and Shaq getting his mug GnP'ed under the rim.

Shaq didn't get GnP'ed at all man all that happened was barkely had him in a lil head lock. If anybody GNP anybody in the NBA they would be suspended for the season at a minimal. Kermit Washington was basically done after the one punch ko he had on Rudy T.

**** like this ruins the reputation of MMA as a serious sport. It's the only combat sport where someone like Shaq could even consider having a few months training and then have a professional fight with someone with a half decent name.

This thread title should be edited; makes it seem like this might be happening soon. Shaq has at least one full NBA season left before he retires, so if this fight is to take place "after basketball" it's going to be a while. :nono
