For the winner of the super six ... I have this feeling, Pavlik is moving up in weight ... There's talks of Dawson possibly going down in weight ... you have Lucian Bute fighting vs Andrade for the IBF title ... and with the recent collaboration between GBP's and Universum ... its only going to be a matter of time before the WBO champ takes a shot on US soil. There's also Sakio Bika who just signed with Golden Boy ... I can see some super middleweight action coming to HBO by the end of the super six tournament. No matter what happens in Pavlik vs Williams, I can see Pavlik moving up to 168 soon ... and he can face off against the winner of Bute vs Andrade. Thoughts ?????
Pavlik will have lost to Williams and Bute likely scrapes a win against Andrade. The winner of the super six will dismantle either one of Bute or Pavlik. :smoke
I think Bute is something special ... he's a more Americanized form of Calzaghe ... I don't question his chin either ... he was sat down against Andrade from a power shot ... nothing concrete to the chin. I think he has just as much if not more skill than anyone out of the super six.
Nothing new here. I posted about an interview I heard with Loew a while back on a local radio station. Pavlik will still try and unify but Bute is in the cards in time to position him to take on the winner of the Saurland Six tourney. I think at the time they also mentioned Balzsay so that gives you some idea that this is somewhat old news. No clue with Johnson though. As I said before. HBO is letting Showtime do lots of the build up on their nickle. All they have to do is position themselves to take on the winner to reap the benefits of all of Showtime's work. Unify with Stiegletz, Bute and give Pavlik a shot at it also for his drawing power. I think this is why he came off of HBO's shitlist and they put up the money for the Williams fight. Remember they offered a total of $2mill to the Sturm matchup? Well done Showtime. You have HBO scrambling. We win. :deal I hope. :yep
