All I can hope for Golota is to bow out on a high note. If he beats a warrior like Adamek (even if he's much smaller) in front of his countrymen, I'd be happy if he retired off that. It sure beats going out on a Brewster or Austin debacle.

So this is more a set up for TA to officially jump into the
rankings so he can accept Wlads offer the next year?

Yes, the only real question is how is Andrew's health and how does he look in training?

This fight could be for the ring belt but it wont matter if Andrew isn't prepared.

    Probably...

If Adamek beats Golota in a convincing fashion no doubt in my mind he will enter the top 10 rankings for the IBF.....than another guy like Ray Austin or somthin and boom title shot.

Yes, thats the way I see it. Except I want Adamek to face Chambers, Povetkin or Ruiz instead, as Austin is too big (even big for Golota) and Adamek would no doubt have to get fat and out of shape for that bout. Those bouts would also be designed to gain Adamek some cred. at HW to build momentum for a belt shot. I cannot believe people are rooting for AG against TA. If TA continues his campaign at HW - and he will need a convincing win against Golota to do that - he could accomplish something special, especially if his chin and power carry over to HW, where he could at least have a chance to bang with the Klits. AG is way past that point unfortunatly.

The nose comparison says it all. Golota, a true, battle tested warrior has his nose beaten to where it points down. McBride, a girly man, has a nose that still points outward.

    What a *****.

Adamek has no business fighting at heavyweight IMO. It's simply not his natural weight and stands little chance beating Klitschos or even Valuev. Even an old has been like Golota will thrash Adamek. Hopefully Adamek will realize he made a mistake and go back down to his natural weight class.

You guys can say what you want but you got to give Adamek a chance. Personally I think Andrew is too durable. Watch the bombs McBride was landing and Andy was taking them. I know Tomasz has the speed but I doubt he'll have the pop.

Golota's never had trouble in the gym. His trouble is in his head.

On another note, Poland blows 2-zip and the Eli is earning his paycheck.

I definitely give Adamek a chance. For one I'm not sure what Golota has left. At his age and after all his fights he may be completely shot. But if Golota is as good as he was against Mollo, he should be able to beat him.

    I'd go with 60/40 Golota.
