I attributed Linares' shocking loss to GBP's curse than him having a Mexican opponent... It's a joke MJew... Congratz to Salgado and Viva Mejico !! .

just heard this news right now and saw the fight on youtube. Its an embarassing loss but not the type he can't get back from nor the type that shows his ability being exposed. He seemed to have gotten caught cold and its quite possible that with 1 or 2 more seconds after the first knockdown he would have gotten his feet under him and turned the fight around. Is there even one person on this site who called that Salgado would beat Linares? Alot of people are stroking their own ego for something that they didn't even predict. Even those people would have picked Linares to win the fight if forced to choose. Just like I wasn't one of those who declared Khan a bum when he got caught off guard against Presscot, I won't write off Linares. I hope he gets an immediate rematch against Salgado and I'm confident that he would win it. As for Salgado, I'm happy for him. I'm sure he trained really hard for this shot and he seems to have good power. So I still claim that Linares is the truth, and he is young enough that he has many years to establish himself as an elite fighter. If he ends up going down the path of Mijares, I'll eat my words.
I still am not convinced this means Linares is no good. His skill does not go away because he got caught early. Maybe he is going to have a shaky chin, and it will always hurt him. Maybe not. Lennox Lewis was starched twice. He has serious ability, regardless of what happened. As I said before, Salgado may actually be very good, or he could be another Prescott. We will see.
