So you have to have a sky satellite?

I'm on Virgin and have Sky Sports, but I'll need the satellite for the extra channel - right?

So with this additional registration fee of £2.50, the total cost will be a minimum of £15.45 (which is even more than SKY charge for PPVs (£14.63 for Valuev v Haye). These add-on costs that are prevalent in today's world are a bit of a con, and in this case they don't even need to post tickets like with sports and music events. I think Primetime think that us boxing starved fans will pay anything to get our fix!

Just thinking, how many subscribers will they need to cover their costs and surpass the 100K they were apparently offered?

the England game on the internet at between 5-10 quid, with all the publicity in the world and obviously a humongous base/market, got well less then 300,000. thats very interesting.

It's because it was a new concept for your average football fan, whereas us hardcore boxing fans are well acquainted with such platforms.

As for those of you complaining about the price; what a bunch of tight *******s! Yes I wish it was on terrestial or Sky Sports but this is the reality we have and, as far as I'm concerned, the price is worth the two main fights live alone.

PPV movies usually are kept a week before they are automatically wiped, hopefully this will be the same
