Sounds similar to watching sporting events in Japan. They're too polite over there. We were watching a volleyball game, and the umpire called time out to give one manager a verbal warning for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Anywhere else and the crowd would have jeered the manager to hell, but in Japan the crowd went completely mute, you could have heard a pin drop.
Reminds me of Douglas-Tyson, round after round Buster is handing Iron Mike his nuts on a platter.... to a smattering of polite applause in between rounds!
how did people get ringside and so on? i went to get 2 tickets on the day they went on sale from ticketek and they told me best available seats were section b or soemthing i was ****n pissed at that... i couldnt believe all teh good tickets went in like 30 mins??
The funny thing is, whilst Japanes crowds are narcoleptic, their commentators come off as highly animated. Not that I can understand a word they are saying....
you would think ticketek would do like they did with the footy and hold some tickets back for general public.. ow well im just disappointed i dont get to see roy jones live guess will have to just do it when i go america....
I notice that there are some tickets for sale on ebay..how ever there pretty dear.. i saw 2 a reserve seats worth $300 sell for $450.

Hi Phil, Unfortunately I missed the lunch down here due to work commitments :twisted:. I think we will be in Sydney for about 3 days before the fight, So anytime is good for me. Don't forget to organise my photo and autograph session :yep
Serious question Phil... Do sanc orgs or atleast you guys have an official meet and greet with the fighters? Is that a thing that happens when a title is contested? I'm not talking about a casual hand shake when you bump in to the fighters, but more of an official meeting where you guys are introduced etc.
