Anybody going to the Carl Froch fight,

    There are plenty, park early tho as they fill by 8pm, look on google and put in car parks in nottingham, expect to pay 4-5 pound, the closer the car park to the arena the faster it will fill up. my advice, get train so you can have a bevvy

    Thanks for the advice mate I will check out how much the train costs but money is defanitely a problem, I am going with my mate who is a skint student and I'm driving up from Reading to Coventry on a Friday so I'm not even staying somewhere I am too familiar with all a bit annoying because the undercard is **** and I don't really want to be hanging around in the arena for 4/5 hours watching it.

    no probs mate, glad i can help. reason i recommend train is cos u can drink in foyer of arena whilst the crap undercards on, nout worse than watching your mate get pissed whilst you have to be sober to drive. Tell your mate to get some cash, remember your going out to spend not save money... all the best anyway.

    it's gonna be a enjoyable evening. I feel I'll be fine UNLESS Frochy gets blown away (not likely) in which case some mad Shottingham resident will be more likely to blow ME away :lol:

    Have a look on the www.trentfmarena.co.uk there are links to local car parks.Pretty sure when i looked there was a NCP car park 5 mins walk from the arena and £3.70 from 6pm till 6am.HTH's :good

    the clubs won't be staying open any longer just because Froch is fighting, and I seriously doubt you'd get in to any place after 2am.

    Best bet would be doss around the train station until a morning train

    Broad Marsh is only 5-10mins walk and is well lit and always staffed, and I'm pretty sure is open 24hours. That's where I'll be parking anyway

    I am afraid you are correct, at work today and had time to call all the nightclubs in nottingham and they all shut 3 and 4pm ish. Best bet is casino or just jump in black cab...

    American fans give Froch zero chance. They are saying that Dirrel will have a very easy fight and stop Froch. I think Froch will beat Dirrel, but..........

    **** me, everymorning nowadays all we get is this plank FarmBoxer coming on saying the same thing :-(

    I complained the other week that everymorning at aroun 6:30 - 7:00 he came on here licking Calzaghe's balls........... Now he's coming on every morning making the same comment about the American fans............ **** off back to the Gen you tit :-(

    The yanks really don't see Frock winning this fight. They really think that Dirrell will be too much for him and stop Frock easily.

    Just rang nottingham trent fm arena box office and THEY ARE SHOWING THE JERMAIN TAYLOR VS ARTHUR ABRAHAM FIGHT' they will beam it on via the screens inside stadium just before froch fight.

    Cant bloody wait to watch this. Suddenly im not that bothered about the weak undercard...
