He's a body puncher, it would be a different story if he was just aiming for the nuts. Like this.

No. I disagree. What are you delusional Cotto fans watching when you watch this guy? He hit Zab square in the balls dude. I saw that reply like 50 times and it's the same everytime. Just look at where Cotto is aiming on that 2nd Judah shot. That's all you have to do. He caved his nuts in to slow him down. The low blows he threw later in the fight were right on Zab's belt line. Cotto knows exactly where he's hitting you. He didn't have to continue caving Zab's nuts in because he already got the result he was looking for so no need to risk DQ.

That ***** throws low every time he gets hit hard. Ask Corley, Judah and Margarito. Pac won't give Cotto time to hit him low because he is going to blaze Cotto's ass before he gets that chance.

I think you should get a dictionary and look up the word unconscious. Unconscious means knocked out. Unaware. Bascially in a state of sleep. Zab was NOT unconscious.

And we're not talking about the Floyd fight. We're talking about the Cotto fight. If you wanna talk about the Floyd fight then open a thread that talks about that. And what Cotto did to Zab was dirty. It was bascially Cotto's show, by Cotto's rules. Cotto could have hit Judah with a baseball bat that night and it still wouldn't have made a ****in difference. The ref would have still told Zab to "walk it off"

special rules? special weights? Perhaps they can limit the number of punches an opponent throws? Maybe Roach can ask for his fighter to be allowed to use weapons?

Geez, it's boxing! The rules have been set already...just shut up and fight!

LOL!!!! wow.... so now they want to change the rules that are used for every other boxing match in its HISTORY.... wow! lol.

Being disqualified for the first low blow (when you have a body puncher like cotto thats usually bound to happen at least once in an action packed fight) is the stupidest thing ive ever heard...

at least have one warning.... then a DQ.

I used to train at Gleason's also. I'm not talking about Zab's work ethic. That has nothing to do with this conversation. I'm talking about that injustice that was done to him. I don't give a **** if Zab only trained once a month, that still doesn't make what happened to him right. And I do read before I write, you should choose better words for your sentences. Zab was in no danger of being choked "unconscious". And I guess he'll be a gate keeper with a 140 title still getting big fights. Because I doubt their's anybody that can handle him there.

How many deliberate low blows should Cotto be allowed? Two? Three? He has a clear history of going low in key moments.

Unfortunately many so called fans of boxing relish low blows. We saw these types of fans cheer for Hatton when he intentionally hit Tszyu low in the nuts full on without even a hint of remorse nor any question as to whether it was done on purpose, a nasty foul blow for a previous shot that was many say was legal and certainly not intentionally low.

Judging by some of the responses here, I have no doubt many of you will jump out of your seats and celebrate if Cotto gets away with some intentional low blows and that is pathetic.
