Lets say Margarito had the plaster, would Trinidad still be able to get the victory in this slug fest.

Not at welterweight he didn't. Trinidad's strongest weight where his power was at it's peak was the welterweight division. And Marg used used plaster, trinidad never used plaster, he just double wrapped his hands.

From now on every thread involving a match up with Margarito should say, whether he is fighting with or without the plaster

margos pads never hardened.....it was said by the bhop team that what tito did, was like making your fist into baseball bats.....far much worse IMOand plus, they didnt find plaster in margo's wraps, so you can throw that out the window.....they found traces of some chemicals that can be found in a lot of things......

Come on Freddy. Let it go already. Your a good guy and I've got no intention of getting in an arguement with you over this like others have, but you need to let it go.

All Team Trinidad were guilty of was using an extra layer of gauze and taping directly onto the skin. Yes, it was/is illegal and shouldn't be done, but it's not like 'making his fist into a baseball bat'.

Whereas Capetillo & Team Margarito were found with substances that were expected to harden over the course of the fight; substances common with plaster of paris. He wouldn't of got a year ban for nothing.

So they would suspend Margarito for no reason? It was already said that the gauze was hardened and placed on margo's knuckles (Coincidence right?) and that "sulfur and calcium, according to a document obtained by the Times. Those two elements, with the addition of oxygen, make plaster of Paris"

I really dont understand how wrapping your hands can increase your punching power..unless it is to you give you greater confidence in your hands. I dont think Trinidad ever broke his hands did he?

    Trinidads career isn't tainted.
