Has there actually been any marketing & Advertising for this? How does Froch's Management & Primetime hope to get buy's with no advertising. This is going to flop bigtime!!
Which will be really **** for us, because it'll mean no one picks up his next fight. It does seem Mick is little naive about marketing.
well..i was having a wee chat with the bird when i was ordering mine today...as you do like...and she was telling me that there's going to be quite a bit of mma / ufc on primetime in the future....for some reason i thought it was just for the boxing.
I will order before saturday does anyone know roughly what time the Froch fight will start my guess is 2ish?
There wont be any UFC on this channel. ESPN have the UK rights to UFC PPV's which they show on there subscription based channel. Primetime may decide to show other MMA organisations PPVs like strikeforce but this will be a flop. The only MMA organisation people care about is the UFC. Nobody will pay for a PPV of another MMA organisation. If primetime showed some Japanese MMA then they could get some money from me.
I'm gonna order his tonight. I remember the pain of ordering setanta for the joe calzaghe vs bhop fight at the last minute
Good idea, but that was a different situation. I rang last night and the chap was thoroughly helpful and friendly; I was impressed.
Well, being from Yorkshire, I'm very tight with money, so I have to think long and hard about this. Because I can probably get both fights on DVD after the fact for a fiver. Although....I may well get primetime and watch it live, but if there are any problems with my viewing of this channel, I will hunt down the proprieters and have anglosaxon go to work on their arses. You have been warned.
I'd invite you round to watch it but coming to London, for you Northerners, is the equivalent of going to Spain!
i think a lot of you are beig short sigted with this...you have to rember portland the compay behind it ) have the structure in place to set up a channle as they have loads of porn channels ...
