PAv was scared of AA...otherwise they would've fought. When talking about AA, don't even bring up Pav and AA. Pav knew the deal. What you see is premature speculation. You see a big punch and low work rate, I see great defense, a chin, a jab, body punches and superb combos.

How the hell u know if Pav was scared of AA?? Please Pavlik isnt scared of nobody!!...

Anyway...I say Jermain has a great chance of outboxing AA,I see Jermain winning by a UD...But the fact that the fight is going to take place in germany worries me a bit

I know Pav was scared because the fight didn't happen. He has Arum as his promoter, and the fight doesn't get made. He was scared, and AA called his ass out numerous times. The punk is now taking on ww champ Paul Williams. I hope Williams kicks his ass...

Id like to add to this tho...

Taylor could easily win a WIDE UD if he can stay upright for the whole fight. Its gonna all come down to his stamina. He is clearly the better boxer in this one, by a huge amount, but his fitness seems to fail him much faster than his skills do.

Dirrell is in the same mold. I dont think Abraham can outbox Andre, but he can stop him. Dirrell has been hurt by lesser fighters, loves to languish against the ropes and tires against minimal pressure.

Froch vs Abraham is the only fight I could see Arthur being competative on the cards...but I still favor Carl in the long run. That said, Jermain was able to drop Froch, so Arthur has a chance to as well...

Abraham could go 3-0 or 0-3 just as easily.

This is the beauty of this tourney really, so many question marks (Jermain's stamina, Froch's defense, Dirrell's chin and inexperience, Ward's inexperience, the lack of competition for Kessler as of late, Abraham's speed and overall skillset), so many great matchups. I still believe this is the best thing to happen to the sport in a long time. Hopefully we can get a few other divisions to follow suit afterwards.

Fighters who were nowhere near JT's level went 12 rounds with AA. However, I'm very concerned about Jermain's punch resistance, and the possibility that he is mentally shot. Abraham is ridiculously over rated, but the kid is tough and he can crack. Jermain needs to fight a smart 12 rounds, it's the "smart" and the "12 rounds" that bother me the most!

Jermain is one of my favorites, and I would love to see him make a stunning come back beginning this Saturday! I'll be in agony watching this fight!!!!

**** meant to vote for AA by KO.

I think he has the skills to land on Taylor with his best shots, specially in the later rounds.

I agree with you about lesser fighters taking Arthur to the cards, but its arguable that those fighters may have twice the stamina Jermain has. Fact is, for as wonderfully skilled as he is, Taylor's one major knock is his overall fitness. He gasses, and when he gasses, he gasses quickly.

Think about it, vs Hopkins both times, he gassed late (against minimal output as well). Vs Winky he was languishing on the ropes late. Vs Pavlik, he punched himself out and was gassing when he got caught in the first one...and looked dead on his feet late in the second one. Vs Lacy, he looked superb, until slowing late...again against minimal output. And we all know about how quickly and dramatically he gassed against Froch.

Im of the belief he is athsmatic and undiagnosed (ever hear how he struggles to catch his breathe in interviews? Watch the Froch prefight buildup...you can actually hear him gasping for air while answering questions in a suit). I could be and probably am wrong...but it would explain ALOT about his career.

And I gotta say, I love Taylor. His skillset and attitude are amazing. Seems like a great guy...someone you really want to cheer for. And I dont think Abraham has a chance in hell at outboxing him...but Im also very worried that Jermain cant outlast him.

I'll tell ya what!! If Jermain pulls his career out of the fire, and goes 3-0 in first 3, I'm going to start an official campaign to change his moniker. No more "Bad Intentions." We'll call him Jermain "The Phoenix" Taylor:yep

    Over Rated Taylor:patsch

Jermain fought his last nine fights against current or recent world titlists.

Total number of current or recent world champs Arthur fought? ZERO!

Yes, I've to admit that you're right. But it's not too late to change this.
