Funny, but David hasn't convinced me of his chances here. He is open for an uppercut and one training camp (or one and a half as he says) isn't going to break him of his bad habits. And Julius Long..."effective"? :rofl He'd be better off sparring Yao Ming. Also, pissing Valuev off is probably stupid. We haven't seen the guy angry yet. I was already picking Haye to get KTFO. :yep
what killed me was the interpreters accent, and when haye punched valuev head off (the stand) and everyone started clapping i was rolling all over the place.
In the final analysis, it seems that Haye was wrong...He's actually not a big name. And he only seems able to generate any hype when he's fighting or scheduled to fight a Klitschko. After all, his last fight against Barrett was an unmitigated bomb. He got something like 6,000 fans in a 20,000 seat arena. That's pretty bad.
the tragedy is that only in boxing can you pull out of a fight against both klitschko's, fight valuev and if you win you can crow about being a world champion at heavyweight.... boxing is a joke because of what is tolerated but money makes the material 'world go round' - and even though haye's claim of being a world champion if he does win damages the sport (even though he is exactly what the heavies need) nothing will change.
Just from the picture of the horribly unfunny movie "Observe and Protect," I'd say you're not too difficult to entertain.
It's definitely not Valuev. He's too short and what's more important: This is simply not Valuev's style. He is a guy who loves the silence and doesn't like loudmouthed trash talkers.
