JMM weighed in at142 for the Mayweather fight and looked like Valuev throing punches, he lost so much speed I just cant see him landing on Pac at all.
if not with the ropes,, DLH would have been KOd... if u will watch the fight again, ul see that hoya was about to get kod. DLH quit coz he knows in the following round,,hes gonna get kod. hoya could have been kod but not devastating.. it would be like hatton ko in the first round...
its alright DIVAC saying hatton was nearly out here and nearly out there but tell me 1 other fighter at junior welterweight apart from pac whos has kod him. exactly, you dont have 40 odd fights and not get knocked out once if you have got a glass jaw.
I agree Hatton almost got knocked out by Collazo, but again, this was from being punched repeatedly in the head all through the fight. Did you not see Ricky's face at the end of the night? He was ****ed up - this damage was not done by a single power punch by as you say a 'non-puncher', but by repeatedly getting hit on his defenceless noggin. It would not have been a knock out by a single blow, but by accumulation. Face it - Hatton had a good reputation for stamina and chin before Pac got to him. Pac KO'd him.
Let me put it this simple for you.......including the Collazo fight, Ricky Hatton was either knocked out or come within a punch of being stopped in 4 of his last 7 fights...... When in four of seven fights a fighter is put on ***** street, legs unstable and within a punch of getting toppled.....you cant equate this fighter of having anywhere's near having a good chin....... 4 or 7 fights the man passes through ***** avenue.....thats china if you ask me......Collazo, Mayweather, Lazcano, and Pacquiao...... .....the first three are not ever considered to be knockout artist.....yet there is Hatton walking through ***** avenue! .....and of the other 3 who did'nt put Hatton through ***** avenue.....Urango hurt him to the body, but was too slow to connect to Hatton's chin.......A shot Castillo never got a chance to test Hatton's chin as he was stopped by a body shot.......and Malignaggi is a featherfisted shoeshiner. What do all these fights tell me?????.....if you can plant a shot on Hatton's chin, you've got a hell of a chance to dance him through ***** street......a sign of a fighter who's shot and his chin unstable. 4 of 7!!!
Especially since he can't stay off the canvas. This version of Pac will in all likelyness drop him again...and again...and maybe even again. I got nothing but love for JMM but he hasn't shown me that he can handle moving up as good as Manny has. That's clear as day and shouldn't even be up for discussion.
If pac loses to Cotto, I strongly believe he will hang it up. But if he chooses to have one last fight, the only logical choice is JMM. My friend divac, here I really see a Pac KO within 8 rds.
I say different! I dont think a third fight will happen however......I believe both Pac and Roach know that Marquez outboxes Pac every single time....... Pac needs to KO Marquez, he'll never outbox him.......which is the reason why I dont believe either Pac or Roach will want to take the Marquez fight win or lose against Cotto. Marquez is considered the fighter on his way out.....and it Pac takes the chance to fight Marquez again and Marquez wins.....Pac's legacy takes a hit there......it kind of lends credence to the fact that JMM won the prior two fights...... .......thus the reason why I dont think Pac will fight Marquez again.......he has very little to gain for it legacy wise after losing to Cotto......and can lose monumentally by bowing out of the sport having lost to both Cotto and then Marquez after having clearly lost to Mayweather. You see what I mean? If Pac loses to Cotto, then to Marquez......does'nt that tell history that DLH was drained/shot, and Hatton was china chin shot to pieces???? ......you see, losing to Cotto and then Marquez, diminishes Pac's accomplishments vs DLH and Hatton as well.......it diminishes his legacy period. I highly doubt a third fight willl happen even if Pac gets crushed by Cotto. Pacquiao ruined the chance for a third fight to be meaningful for himself by climbing all the way up to Welter........... .....cant say I blame him though!
......and btw, its easy to say 8th round KO when you yourself are sensing the fight is'nt going to happen!:yep
No divac, should Pac lose to Cotto, it just says a lot that Pac do not really belong in the welters. He's just doing it for the fans and he knows that is where the money is. That is why I said "should he" choose to have one last fight, it has to be with JMM, the only logical choice. And you are pretty confident of a JMM win, that is fine by me. But I stand by my prediction of a KO within 8 rds "should it happen" and hopefully, you respect that.
No need to get at eachothers throats over it unless the fight is going to happen..... .....if by miracle a third fight happens to take place, I'm sure you and I will have a few thrilling sparring sessions on the way to the buildup!:bbb:bbb:good
