Don't you get it pommi, Bute is well on his way to get a bigger slice of the pie at HBO, beating Andrade could lead to a Pavlik/Williams PPV fight for much more money:good...plus better negotiation terms against the winner of the Super 6 tournament.

well to answer your stylistic challenge Ill write down some of Dirrell strengths as oppose to the weaknesses you listed.

    1. Dirrell has shown the ability to limit his opponents punch output to 1 or 2 punches at a time due to his speed, accuracy and straight shots down the pipe, he stings you with those shots and it breaks the opponents rhythm and concentration.

    2. Dirrell uses the ring effectively, as much as some people seem to think he has not got footwork, he uses the ring effectively and this will work in his favour as he has the speed of foot to get him in and out of trouble

    3. Dirrell knows how to tie up and use the clinch and he will use this to his advantage by landing sharp counters and clinching so Froch cannot get off, he is the faster handed fighter so this tactic will work, ala Anthony Small vs Matthew Hall

    4. Dirrell has the ability to not get phased by the crowd booing because he is not getting involved or stuck into a brawl with the other guy, he can keep his concentration and fight his own fight. ala, Curtis Stevens fight...

    5. Dirrells switch hitting style will aid him in this fight to confuse his opponent and will allow him to experiment with what works best for him against Froch.

I could go on but you will only find something negative to say about him and my posts as you do most of the time.

:rofl If you knew your boxing then you'd know that the reason that Bute's next fight is on HBO is that Showtime turned it down, Golden Boy won the purse bids for the fight (so nothing to do with Bute) and have a contract with HBO....:patsch

Good post. It's an interesting fight (likewise the Taylor/Abrahams).

Never said Bute has a contract with HBO (notice the future tense in will):patsch...of course Showtime would have preferred to have Bute rather than Dirrell. But this could be a blessing in disguise (unearthing a new star).

Mainly because they're shite. Dirrell isn't a good mover, I honestly don't know what fights of his you've been watching. He goes back in straight lines with his chin in the air, watch the Oganov fight. How is Small vs Hall a good gauge of how this fight will go?:patsch

So the reason that Bute isn't in the super six is nothing to do with 'rival tv channels politics' as you said....

fleaman is just another typical UK ESB blind patriot...I've always strongly believed Skills win fights:D. I'm hoping this stands true (on Satrday)-unless there's the pressured into hometown decision:roll:

Don't put words in my mouth:hi:
...I've said it once and I'll say it again Showtime & HBO (via Golden Boy Promotions) butted heads on the issue of Bute. TV politics...which IMO could turn out best in the longer run:bbb

What does pixel count have to do with blatantly obvious physical actions? You don't need a HD copy of a fight to see which direction a fighter is moving in. Speaking of broken records...
