. Does Cotto looks overtrained already? Here's his most recent pic (from FightNews)... .. This content is protected
Cotto look real skinny from the angle of the picture. I hope i'm seeing things cause if not then Cotto is doing what De la hoya did. Crap.
WOW he does look a bit skinny but it could just be a bad pic. And cotto does look skinny wen he weighs in but when he gets in the ring he looks far biigger.
its just the angle of the pic. last weeks pictures he looked pretty solid. I hope he does not overtrain all because of that stupid 145lb weight limit.
nah i dont think so.... if you want to see cotto drained look at his last couple weigh ins at 140 (malignaggi fight comes to mind). like a concentration camp victim. also, look at all his weigh ins, hes always small and skinny. hes really not a very large welterweight depsite his strength. im sure hes fine.
I don't think so. In the videos I've seen, he looks pretty much the same way he did leading in to the Margarito and Clottey fights. Here's another pic from today, though it's crazy blurry... This content is protected
Yea but from that picture angle he look real skinny in which it's not a good signed in just 3 or 4 weeks for the fight. De la hoya did the same thing and look what happen to him. But again i hope i'm seeing things.
I think Cotto is in training for 6 to 7 weeks already and it's a bit over 4 weeks still to go... PAC been in serious training for only 4 weeks up to today... .
No, what De La Hoya did is attempt to rehydrate after tipping the HBO scales on fight night. Roach even said when Oscar entered the ring, he saw fresh IV marks on his arms, which means they rehydrated him intravenously. Oscar also was chewing ice chips during his ring walk.
thing is, regardless of where they started, hoya IS a bigger guy then cotto at this point in time (or that point in time i should say) and making 144 will be less taxing on cotto then making 147 was for hoya, believe me.
