Pavlik didn't need his A Game that night.

Beat the number one contender who won an eliminator to be there from pillar to post until he quit and cried on his stool. Pavlik worked on some things and followed the plan to give the local fans a few rounds to watch. This is the only fight I've ever seen Kelly Pavlik have someone trapped on the ropes and BACK OFF. Why do you think that was Goony?

Pavlik will KO Williams. Pavlik is the hardest hitting MW in the world. Williams has never been hit even remotely as hard as he'll be hit that night.

How about Williams' share of Hopkins leftovers? :think

Seriously, you Pavlik fans lack of any kind of respect makes you worse than those shaved headed UFC fanboys. "Williams is about the get KTFO", "Pavlik leftovers this that" but "Oh Kelly just had an off night". Absolute garbage, non-recyclable.

Exactly -- PW hasn't been hit as hard, OR, as often as Pavlik will hit him.

Nothing chages the fact that Froch's best win is a guy Pavlik beat twice in two different divisions, nor will anything change the fact that Abraham is just now getting to the point where he is willing to take a HUGE step up by fighting Pavlik's left overs.

The thing too, Rubio is obviously not in anybody's P4P list, but he's a top notch fighter who by way of winning eliminator's earned his right for a mandatory challenge.

It can be a tall order for a lot of fighters to get out a upper level professional boxer who's objective in there appeared to be NOT GET KO"d. That's all he was doin', runnin like hell and anything to NOT fight.

    Pav still got him.

    I mean for real!

Pav coming off his first loss in 10 years, came in there and didn't lose one round en-route to stopping his WBC Mandatory challenger....who by the way was runnin' for his life and fighting only to NOT get KO'd.

    Good post.:good
