It seems to me there should be a thread showing old fights of DLH's just to educate people on who the **** he was before he got over the top popular. I'll start the thread one day, too lazy right now and having my first coffee of the day. Maybe Uliuli can do it.

Even Floyd in his lightweight years can only dream about being the fighter Hoya was in his lightweight years.
****, DLH resting on his work at lightweight only would still be the most ferocious fighter Mayweather ever faced.

i'm really surprised that people think a fighter who didnt win the biggest fights of his career and has always been easy to hit would beat floyd....

oscar had good hands but couldnt stay on his toes very long (he looked electric when he did though).

    At 130, Floyd wins.

At 147 or 154, Oscar wins.

At 135 or 140, who knows.

Yeah you should do that, some people act as if they started waching boxing when Mayweather beat Gatti. Mayweather is good, not great. Oscar carried this sport for a long time by himself, I can't stand the disrespect towards Oscar, a man that always seeked the greatest challenges. Some of these fans should do some research befoe posting.

Oscar is perhaps the most overrated fighter of this era. He could compete with the elite buy usually always came up short. At any weight at any point Floyd wins. He's the superior boxer and proved it when they met.

Oscar in his prime by a close UD. The Oscar that fought Floyd was slightly faded but still very good, and that fight was close. Oscar with a little more, ie. his prime self could've had the intangibles to make the fight even closer and win a decision.

And PBF fought Oscar at a weight he had no business at on Oscar terms and still won.

oh please in his prime floyd couldnt run and clench enough to last the whole fight, then his over dramatic fans would have to admit against a real fighter in his prime floyd isnt(great) he,s simply good-even floyd new the old oscar would have to tire for floyd to move ahead (on points) and pull off a split dec. A PRIME OSCAR WOULD HAVE SMOKED FLOYD LIKE A PACK OF KOOLS

If a prime DLH means fighting a Younger PBF then i will always go with Floyd on points! :)
Floyd @ 147 would have done a bigger number on Oscar.....

A prime Oscar would still lose to Mayweather at any point in his career ... Floyd is just a waaay better fighter. He makes adjustments and he would make Oscar think in the ring ... no matter where they were in their careers ... Floyd is just better.

Just think about it ... if it wasn't for that bull**** in the olympics Floyd would've won a gold medal.

Floyd has a better style that gives guys like Oscar fits ... he can never find a target to hit and he would just rush in desperate ... he's always been a front runner ... he never had the endurance to conserve his energy and dig deep ... yeah he might have against Quartey, but hell Quartey was more tired than Oscar was ...

Floyd is too much for any fighter in this era in boxing ... at or around 130-154.

Oscar lost all of his big fights ... and all were to fighters of "african" decent ... he can't beat a brotha ... thats it ... he would never be able to beat Floyd ...

all b/s aside great post too pretty.
