Obviously ****ing TITO can't be, since Winky is a better choice as he was one dimensional and administered a humiliating **** on the butthole of Felix. Winky's style also stood up to many other styles: Mosely, Vargas, Taylor, Tito, etc.

Marciano existed at a time where no other boxer existed that could deal with him, what so ever.

Tua would have beaten Marciano, easily.

If this fighter is an all-time great, there's no way that there's any one fighter who was one dimensional.

On a purely one-dimensional basis, Khaosai Galaxy should be up there. I don't think a lot of the guys being mentioned were actually one dimentional.

Yeah he might have but I doubt that Marciano's right hand was one of the most lethal weapons in boxing history. I can say this ... Marciano was boxing in an era that was tougher than the Era that Tua came up in ... and I assure you that Tua in victory would have the toughest fights of his life.

The era of the steel chins, brick hands, and relentlessness ...

I very much agree with that it's why I dont like the one dimensional argument it shits on all the skills they posses just because they only fight one way that's why im curious as to peoples defintion of one dimensional to me Frazier and such were way to good to be one dimensional just because he was always trying to get on the inside, his upper body and head movement was very good, great inside fighter, cut off the ring better than any HW I can think of still everyone calls him one dimensional so I dont know.

Rocky has never faced a fighter quite like a prime Tua before. Tua would have ko Rocky under the 8th round. Rocky mostly beat fighters that were in the downside of their careers in which it was the right time for Rocky. Tua tko/ko fighters that later became world champions.

Bollocks. The older era is not the better era. The 50s and 60s are just as over-rated as the 70s and 80s.

Fighters have gotten bigger, more skilled and more intelligent in the ring over the last 15-20 years. Yes yes, I know we like to be nostalgic and think boxing is the only thing that hasn't improved in that time frame but no one has ever had to face a 6'8, 250lb guy who is also a very sharp, very mobile boxer prior to this generation.

Evolution is the answer to why you think the eras are better than others ... but to be honest ... the guys from back in the day ... had more to fight for ... 70's and 80's were the begining of the mega bucks ... those guys back in the day were fighting more, longer rounds, longer careers, and making less money.

Having more to fight for doesn't make you any better. Do you really doubt that Rodriguez is a weaker power hitter than say Micky Mantle? Despite the $120 million he earns in 10 years, Rodriguez is a better player.

Look at the history and progression of combat throughout the ages, technique gets better and better, preparation gets better and better.

Our understanding and awareness of muscle training and particular types of muscle training is greater than ever, our ability to analyse things is greater than ever and more importantly, the agility that guys who are 6'4-6'6 is greater than ever.

The **** you talking about? Fighters getting bigger? Are we just talking heavyweights? What sharp, mobile 6'8 250lb guys are you talking about exactly?

More skill? More inteeligence? You can't be serious.
