Penn wants GSP rematch & Faber fight, Says GSP should fight Silva.

BJ would again be destroyed by GSP, just as GSP would be destroyed by Silva. These guys are just too good at their fighting weights

Both are pointless fights. Penn would get killed by GSP again and he would be way too strong for Faber. If he wants to fight a FW, it should be Mike Brown.

 

BJ and GSP, both great but totally different fighting mentality. BJ Penn will fight a ******ed gorilla in a cage, he's that type. GSP as great as he is taps from strikes, something that fighters like the Gracies, BJ wouldnt even think of. Whether you think thats dumb or gutsy, it is what it is.

Theres no way Georges is calling Anderson out, thats just not him. It wouldnt be a wise career move, because when Anderson is done with a fighter, you can never look at that fighter the same way. With BJ losing to GSP, BJ only managed to salvage some of his rep partly because of his made for TV character and some still interesting matchups left at LW (Kenflo, Diego etc).

I remember how down and insecure GSP was after Serra, hows he getting back from Silva? Silva wont grind him out like he did BJ, He will be hi-lite reel material.

 

GSP is on a whole other level. He gets better everytime he fights. GSP wins a rematch with Penn easily. And Penn is a great fighter, but GSP is elite.

 

No interest in either fight.

 

They are both elite, GSP is at least 20 pounds of muscle heavier than BJ and has maybe the best MMA wrestling in history which is a great discipline to maximize weight advantage. You give BJ Penn a good natural 145'r like a FAber even a brown and believe you me, hell either KO em or sub them.

 

Penn can't accept that GSP has his number...

 

It's sad that it's reached this point, but I don't really care what BJ does now, nor am I too eager to see the chunky ****** back in the octagon period.

 

Me either. Both guys are just fine doing what they're doing right now. They should just continue to solidify themselves as the best lightweight & welterweight in the world.

And a BJ vs Faber I have absolutely no interest in either. I think BJ should stop focusing on the possibilty of fighting these other guys and focus on the reality that he's got a big fight against a hungry contender named Diego Sanchez coming for his strap. If BJ takes Diego lightly, Diego is gonna maul him.

 

It's not like BJ is pushing for those matches, just that he is open to them and would be interested and willing.

 

BJ has the kind of mentality a fighter needs - fight anyone any time anywhere. I think he's right on all counts. A GSP/Silva match would be interesting and I would watch a Penn/GSP rematch - although that would be a hard sell after the way Penn was dominated in their last fight.

 

The only way this fight would happen again is if Penn beat a legit WW, and GSP suffers a loss. Otherwise, nobody will be interested in it. More and more demand is going to arise to move GSP up to Middleweight. :deal

 

GSP V Silva would be the ****..
