Tua could still be champion

See what he is doing 6-12 months from now, then we will know if he is ready for a Klit, Haye, Valuev, or Chagaev...

 

The best thing about his last fight was his movement.....if he comes to a fight in shape and moving on the way in like that then he has a fair chance in a title fight.

 

He wasn't good enough in his prime to beat Chris Byrd, who won 2 -3 of 28 rounds against the Klitschko brothers. Tua is like post - prison Tyson, a spectacular KO machine against lesser fighters but overmatched against the best. I don't see him beat Chambers, who is the most deserving contender right now.

 

His only chance at picking up a belt imo is getting himself involved in the WBA merry-go-round, whether that be a rematch with Ruiz (#1 contender) or a fight with someone like Kali Meehan (#3) to move him into their rankings. I don't see him having much if any chance of beating either of the Klitschkos - he's just too short and would end up getting potshotted from distance all night long.

 

I fail to see any comparisons between Cameron and either Klit. Both would take Tua apart.

 

Yeah if he keeps winning . . . he could still be a champ. It maybe a long shot but the possibilty is always there.

 

Cameron was decent competition, I'd put him on the same sort of level as Calvin Brock, maybe a little beneath that.

Tua doesn't have a chance against tall guys who can keep him at distance. I think he would chew Haye alive though should they ever fight.

What I don't get is this:

If either Klitschko would fight someone of Shane Cameron's caliber, they would absolutely be crucified by the haters, accused of never fighting anyone with a pulse etc. Tua fights Cameron and now he could be champion? Right after Vitali absolutely destroyed Arreola, who is significantly better and more dangerous than Cameron?

 

I think his best chance would be if he stays in shape. If Haye upsets Valuev and Tua hits Haye cleanly a few times it's goonight Haye and hello champ Tua. I still think Tua doesn't match up well with the Klitschkos. I could see another boring loss like he had against Lewis.

 

How about a more simple answer...........NO!!!!

he prob wouldnt be able to beat either klitschco but neither can any of the other heavys around today at least a fight with tua would seem exiting on paper and theres always a punchers chance
