Come this Saturday,Arthur will get hit like he's never been hit before. He might get dropped a few times.Jermaine's just too good for this guy.As long as Jermaine doesnt get tired middle rounds,Jermaine will win this fight (even though we all know you need a knockout to get a draw in Germany)
I agree that Abraham might get punched like he's never been punched before - I also think that Taylor won't gas in this one since Abraham is not exactly a busy fighter. However, Abraham has a proven good chin so it's unlikely that he will get dropped. And one good clean punch by Abraham might be enough to turn the fight in his favour. Let me put it like this: Abraham has a punchers chance, but he has a HUGE punchers chance.
Spoken like someone who has never seen Abraham fight, and who has an over-inflated opinion of Taylor's capabilities!
Hopkins was landing and his movement was making Taylor work hard. Then Hopkins beat the holy hell out of him.
Taylor is the underdog in this fight well. Last I checked he was 1.36 against 3.00 for Jermain. I think it most depends on what Taylor does or doesn't. Because we know what AA will do and how he will do it, that's no secret.
I don't understand why so many people see this fight as being non-competitive. One side thinks AA will kayo a washed-up Taylor easily and the other side thinks Taylor on his worst day is better than AA and yada, yada, yada. I think it has the potential to be a highly competitive fight between two high caliber fighters. Each have their advantages.
So much nonsense in a few sentences. Germany isn't any worse for robberies/decisions than any other place. If Taylor clearly outboxes AA over 12, he will get the win. Taylor is going to do something worse to AA than break his jaw? AA has been hit with everything and the kitchen sink by Miranda and didn't go down, now Taylor, who hasn't scored multiple knockdowns against anyone in years will put AA on his ass several times? When did Taylor not get tired in a fight? Why would he suddenly be able to fix that, after three losses in four fights?
it seems a no brainer that Taylor will be able to outbox Abraham ( at least early anyway ) we know Abraham to be supertough so its just down to wether he can drag Taylor off his toes and in to a battle. Even then though as much as it would be more Abrahams type of fight he as to deal with a big supermiddle. I really like Abraham and I think this will be very close but I reckon Taylor might just hang on to win this one.
it isnt over for taylor and i wont be suprised if he wins definately the most skilled fighter in the tournament
I've got to pick AA in this one. The only fight I've seen of Abrahams is the one against Oral. Going off of that fight, Taylor wins (as he often seems to) the early rounds that AA would forfeit while he has his huge arms in friont of him in that shell. Then the tide begins to turn and Abraham and his big KO% finish JT. It just seems like for Aurthur, Taylor is tailer made for him. But who knows, maybe JT digs deeper and finds more. Maybe Taylor can just win too many rounds and avoid the KO. I just think Taylor has a better chance against others with less power.
