Is there any interest at all in this fight?

Hard to believe a world title challenge, ( ibo I know ! ) from a local lad can't get any support at all.

Lovemore is a skilful and experienced campaigner, but at 38 years of age is no sure thing imo.

Does anyone rate Hatton, or more to the point does anyone care?

Its the ibo title, its pointless strap that says nothing about the division hattons in!!!

Hatton hasnt even cleaned up domestically let alone ready to step up and fight world class

Its more to do with the fact that Hatton doesn'y have a single fan or person who likes him (Outside of his family that is)

If it turns out to be a war, then **** yeah I'll be interested.

But at the moment it holds as much interest for me as a Southern Area title fight between Benny from LA LAW and Dustin Hoffman's Rainman.

Manchester's Matthew Hatton takes on vastly experienced and vastly durable South African (by way of Australia) Lovemore Ndou in a welterweight 12-rounder next month in Stoke-on-Trent.
Hatton tries another Ben Tackie against the faded, 38-year-old Ndou, Tackie being the faded, 36-year-old African Hatton outscored over 10 rounds in the States last November (both Hattons, Ricky and Matthew, have outpointed the rock-hard Ghanaian). It was a decent win for the 28-year-old Matthew who was well-outscored by fellow Mancunian Craig Watson for the Commonwealth welterweight title last summer but has since won four on the spin and showed against Tackie he can put his punches together neatly and effectively if not powerfully.
No, Matthew is not a big puncher but that makes zero difference against Ndou, who has never been stopped in 16 years as a pro. Surnames on Ndou’s 59-fight resume include “Killer” Cintron, Cotto, Witter (who did drop him a couple of times but messed up his right hand in the process) and countless other harder hitters than Hatton, usually away from home, so we can expect a distance fight and Hatton to try and box his way to the points.
Despite his “Magic Matthew" nickname, one is not sure Hatton has enough boxing ability to pull it off. Ndou, for all his years, still possesses the strength, chin, stamina and remorseless aggression to keep Hatton ‘brave’. This is actually a good match destroyed by its billing (the pathetic IBO), just as Audley Harrison’s best performance to date against Holland’s Richel Hersisia was destroyed by a WBF billing.
Nevertheless, Hatton, younger brother of promoter Ricky, probably nicks a “house fighter” verdict.

    Matt Hatton is a twat.
He's not even the best domestically and it's a mickey mouse belt.
The promoter is a fraudulent arse.
Lovemore Ndou is shot to ****.
    There's a massive chance of a stitch-up, remember Hatton-Tsyzu and the resemblances?

That's why nobody cares. Apart from those who reckon Hatton is worth betting on at 5/2, based purely on the stitch-up possibility.

I don't care for the IBO.
