No respect for the way Danny Williams fights..? Winning british titles with a dislocated arm..? Always showing heart and determination..? He has skills and talent..it was just his work ethic outside of the ring which let him down at times..and his mental approach.

    You ****ing ****..

  2. And who am i to criticise your opinion, im just saying what has baker done to warrant a shot at title when audley won the tournament in which baker was in... in my opinion i believe mcdermott and fury should fight for it with audley vs chisora for a mandatory challenger

  3. Never agreed more with a post, the guy took a hammering off V.Klit. He fought with 1 arm and ducked nobody domestically, the guy should be heralded for his achievments as should thaxton. The both of them are pissing in the same pot, although williams is more shot.

Fighters never used to get stripped for losing in non-title/exhibition fights, and I don't see why this should be any different. Having said that, Danny should hang em up.

If Rogan wins I don't think that he has time to be messing around with the British title, he should try to get a straight shot at the Euro strap.

The Board haven't stripped Danny. He's still Brit champ. He should still retire though, clearly way past his best.

    :deal

Danny should retire now, he has nothing more to prove and he could get hurt if he continues on.

Couldn't agree more. The Baker fight was not over the championship distance and therefore he COULDN'T lose the title. If it had been over the championship distance I think we can all agree that Danny would have prevailed.

That said I still think he should retire. The deterioration in his punch resistance was frightening to see. I've never been that big a fan of Danny, but whoever called for him to "stop shaming British boxing" needs a slap. ****!

Personally I think he should be allowed to keep the belt with Audley being the mandatory if only to allow one last big payday for either or. My money would be on Audley for the record.

When the big thank tribute thread for Danny when it seemed he'd retired went up, I said there I doubted it was actually going to happen.

One of those times where it really sucks to be right. I'm sure he can beat Carl Baker over the distance, hell, a fourth round would've done. But getting shaken to the core by a Carl Baker is a horrible sign.

It's time for Danny to quit.

He's had a great career that included a challenge for THE Heavyweight Championship of the World. He's always been up and down but the downs are becoming the norm.

I have not sais that Williams did not achieve alot in his career and pull off some mighty perfomances. I just really do not like the man or the way he fights in recent times. Stop being a ***** just because someone does not like a certain fighter.
