Yea, for ****s sake Adamek is #2 behind Wlad in ratings. The winner gets a ticket but Adamek could afford to lose more than Golota.

Adamek has nothing to lose. Worst case scenario, if he gets beat he goes back to cruiserweight.

    Steve Farhood:
Very interesting contrast of styles. Today’s Adamek is a better boxer than Golota, but Golota is stronger and more experienced. If during the course of the fight Tomasz could plant a note of doubt in Andrew’s mind, he could win. If not, Golota is always a dangerous rival. I’m going with the first option, Adamek.

    Roy Jones Jr:
Against Golota he will win because he’s faster. He should do everything possible in the ring to frustrate Andy. Golota is my friend but Adamek is more together and more disciplined, but maybe Andy could think of something. But with him nothing is certain. I’m picking Adamek, maybe even by KO in the 10th round.

    Bobby Goodman:
I’ve always been a fan of Golota. Because before fights he always works hard and has always been optimistic, depending on whom he was fighting. Normally Adamek would not stand a chance with a strong and technically sound pugilist like Golota, but we all know about Andrew’s problems. Taking everything into consideration, Adamek should be my favorite but I’m going with Golota. It’s a bit from the heart because Andrew could have really been the world champion and twice he got robbed. I’m picking Golota because Adamek has never fought anyone like him even though Andrew is 41 years old.

    Mike Mollo:
Golota, for sure Golota. This is a great wall of meat that hits very hard. I had no idea how big he was until I stepped into the ring with him in Madison square Garden. Even if you know him, in the ring he’s just much bigger and more massive. He will tire Adamek out just from leaning on him. After 5 rounds Adamek won’t be able to feel his legs and that’s when Golota will start connecting. Golota will win by knockout.

    Dan Rafael:
I don’t know why Adamek decided on this fight but apparently he wants to be a famous Polish boxer. Golota is the opposite of Adamek in so many elements that I don’t even know where to start. Adamek has the heart of a warrior and fights to the end, but Golota can’t tolerate pressure. Adamek is the example of tactical boxing but Golota seems to forget that what happens in the ring brings success. I think that if Golota has any thoughts of being unable to win against Adamek he’ll give up.

    Phil Anselmo:
Adamek should win this fight easily on points. He’s too fast for the current version of Golota, but Andrew will be very menacing for the duration. I wouldn’t at all be surprised if Adamek comes out attacking from the opening bell and wins by a quick knockout. Adamek needs to be very careful not to let Golota fall into a rhythm because that’s when bigger and stronger Andrew could start to dominate. I think it will be a good fight which will be decided by the accuracy of Adamek’s punches. I’m going with him for victory.

    Emanuel Steward:
Adamek made the decision to move up to heavy too quickly. He shouldn’t have moved right into a heavyweight fight against a strong opponent like Golota. He could have picked a smaller caliber. None of us know what form Golota is in but we know from experience that he will be well prepared to fight because he’s always in top shape. Adamek will try to make up the difference in speed but Golota is very athletic and knows how to downsize the ring. The key will be the first connections. That’s when Adamek will realize that he took a huge risk against an experienced opponent in a category that Adamek never fought in. I’m picking Golota.

    Rick Folstadt:
Adamek wants Golota’s Polish fame and that’s why he wants to fight him. Golota was so accurate that he was able to transform a threatening Riddick Bowe into a crying child. But that was a dozen years ago. Now he is also dangerous but Adamek is a thinking machine for knockouts. I’m going with a draw or with an insignificant win for Adamek.

Very interesting quotes. Looks about even. I knew the singer from Pantera was a Golota fan, although he's picking Adamek this time.

I know...I'll email Scoop Malinowski, he should know. Or I could give a call to Ziggy.

And what about Rumsfeld... I mean he's on that talk show now & should have some sources with info on where to watch this thing. Prob gonna be on Polsat, but I don't know how to hook up to that.

Another thing I could do I talk to my Polish neighbor who always reads the Polish papers & stuff like that.

    Can't believe its only 1 1/2 weeks away!
