Yea, but after the fight I recall him saying somehting like he thought he won it. Absolutely ridiculous.

Getting battered around the ring for 12 rounds affected his memory.

Had Andrew's eye not swelled up it would have been even uglier for Mike. I do give him credit though.

Mollo would have been stopped. He barely made it to the finish line and that was with Golota fighting with one eye.

I have spoken to Emanuel on several occasions, and although I never spoke to him about this particular match-up, I suspected he would pick Golota.

This seals it for me. I always thought Golota would be too big for Adamek, and I think Steward (who is much better at breaking these things down than I am) suspects the same thing.

I have met Adamek on several instances, and I think he's a great guy. He just isn't a heavyweight.

Adamek's ONLY chance as I see it, is if Golota's old body breaks down on him.

    Otherwise....

    IT'S ALMOST GOLOTA TIME!!!!

PS-Anyone know if this is being televised in the US? Did Versus pick it up, or ESPN Classic?

JETS, I'm leaving for Puerto Rico tomorrow. When I get back next week I can ask around and see if anyone knows anything, but by then, I'm sure you guys will already know the deal.

Just whatever you guys do, DO NOT ask for or post illegal links to the fights in this forum. Friendly warning.

    Ziggy would know for sure.

When Adamek fought Cunningham....didn't Versus pick it up at the very last minute?

It sounds like Mollo thinks Adamek will fight like him..........not bloody likely. For staters, Adamek has something called conditioning and will not be the first fighter to chug air in this fight, that's a guarantee. Adamek also has something called legs and will never let Golota lean on him. I wouldn't be surprised if this fight is like Ruiz-RJJ., with Adamek dancing circles.

Also, MSG may pick it up. Last year they picked up the minor Adamek/Golota card in Poland.

With all due respect, that's crazy talk!

Adamek dance circles around Golota? When has Adamek ever danced circles around anyone? Adamek has good fundamental skills, but he never boxes with defense in mind. He is ALWAYS looking to land his best shots.

He's easy to hit, and against Golota, even though Golota is slow, I don't expect he will be any harder to hit than usual.

Adamek might be faster than Mollo and his legs may be fresher, but I always believed Adamek was coming in too heavy for cruiserweight. Adamek would PROBABLY be best served fighting the cruiserweight limit at like 193 or so.

He DID get winded at various points against Cunningham.

I've met the man. He is NOT especially big. When I met him back in July, he weighed 200 pounds. Now he's at 215? Honestly, I can't envision him looking any other way but softer at that weight given the brief time he's had to put it on.

The ONLY question that really comes into play for me is:

    HOW SHOT IS GOLOTA?

If he's as good as the Golota who fought Mollo, he should win.
