Do you think David Haye's eventually bound to be given a humility lesson in the ring?

Come on man your comparing a guy called Dirrell who has been fighting Tomato cans all his career with a guy who was WBC, WBA, WBO, Lineal and Ring magazine champ at CW. At least Haye achieved something of note.

I wont defend Haye for not fighting Vitali when he had the chance although I dont know how bad the rapage was in the proposed contract but I agree he has been to inactive.

If he wins big next month then that should silence the doubters.

 

Valuev should have taken on Wald when offered. When Wald beat Chagev, Valuev's title became Valueless.

 

That would have been an interesting fight no doubt. Valuev looked terrible against Holyfield I am thinking that he has slowed down and will probably get out boxed by Haye.

 

I'm comparing two fighters who are going for titles in their respective weight divisions. As for Haye being an accomplished champion, that is nonsense. The man had one title defense at cruiserweight before he moved up...he is not a dominant champ. He is exactly as accomplished a fighter as Carl Froch, perhaps less so. And while I am not a Valuev fan, he has a far better resume at heavy than Haye can and probably ever will have. Use your head before you respond, please.

 

i like david haye and he is good for the division, but if he is serious about fighting one of the K bros he'll be taught a lesson. i've still not made my mind up on the haye-valuev fight though, i honestly think anything can happen in that fight and it wouldn't surprise me too much. stopping valuev seems like the least likely scenario, but i wouldn't rule it out

Haye has an interesting personality no doubt, but lately he's been fighting with his mouth instead of his fists, and that's getting tiresome. If he dismantles and stops Valuev, then he has to be taken seriously and his power respected, because nobody could do that to Valuev. Until then, Haye is a great entertainer, but not much else.

 

Toney has fought some great fighters, Haye has done nothing in comparison.

 

You telling me to use my head before I post but your the one who tried to compare an unproven prospect to a certified world champ. Dirrell has not even fought an ex world champ/ gate keeper and you think the situations are similaratsch.

Of course Valuev has better resume at HW because the guy has fought there over 50 timesatsch Where as Haye has had a handful.

To be honest I never really understood what point you were trying to make when you mentioned Dirrell being trash talker like Haye.

 

Toney has also tested positive for steroids twice.

At what level does it become acceptable? Becoming recognised cruiser champ not good enough?

what if Haye beats Valuev? How about becoming a heavyweight title holder?

Fact = Toney is a known steroid user = No place in the HOF. At least Haye for all his limitations (chin and cockiness) is an honest fighter.

 

I'm not saying that if you perform it's ok to be a *****, and I like humble fighters myself. Haye has been a major ***** but his accomplishments are kind of thin.

The cruiser accomplishments aside, Haye has been claiming that he's the best heavyweight out there and that's just laughable because he hasn't even beaten a top 10 heavy.
