Cotto is SERIOUSLY determined to beat PAC

 

of course he doesnt care about the Mayweather fight, he had plenty of opportunities to call out Floyd but chose not to.

 

That's my point, no one turned any down. If anything, it was Mayweather looking to make the fight even during the time he was with Arum and Cotto's team claimed they're not ready and I can't blame them, Cotto was still rising at that point.

Cotto might know "this" and won't wait but if you REALLY want a fight you do whatever it takes to make it happen. Mayweather wanted the fight with DLH so he ditched Arum to make it, MANY fighters did that when they SERIOUSLY have a fight in mind.

 

Huge payday or not, Arum had no plans whatsoever for that fight. He already had Margarito/Cotto in plan, dealt it and signed before Margarito fought Williams and Cotto fought Mosley. That fight was already written down, so all this "ducking me" talk at that point was a load of garbage.

As I said, if a fighter REALLY wants a fight they can make it. Cotto is happy seeing his promoted pick opponents for him and that's what is happening. There's no official move from Cotto, just microphone garbage like Arum is very popular with as he promotes his guys when in reality the desire to make these fights is bull**** for people that know what's going in.

Arum, as always, likes to keep it in the stable. If he has a guy who's in the division where he controls more than one fighter he will make sure to sign these guys to fight one another and keep business safe.

Obviously, there aren't people with brains to see through that and play stubborn just to continue feeding their hate towards specific guys.

If Mayweather was the one to say "Speak to my promoter" we will have floods of insults and "coward" childish name calling.

I still can't FIND PBF Calling COTTO OUT. I do recall PBF making a comment after being asked about Cotto of, " I'm going to retire from boxing .Boxing is not going to retire me."

Its funny how Marquez called out mayweather and he quickly accepted that fight but when Mosley called him out he quickly stated that he needs to talk to his team. I thought Mayweather makes his own decision. Also Margarito (cheating or not) called out mayweather on camera and offered him 8 million (at the time that was a nice chunk of money) He turn that one down too. I just thinking if Cotto called him out it will be a waste of time IMO.

I dont believe Floyd ever said anything about Cotto..I do remember the HBO broadcast team saying they talked to someone in Cotto's camp and they didnt feel floyd was the type of fight they were lookin for at that point in Cotto's career.....This was around 2004-2005.....

 

Well actually instead of fighting Marg, Floyd fought Baldomir. Marg challenged Floyd after he fought Judah.

 

I didn't say Team Floyd will take PAC no matter what... It's the fans opinion that Floyd will fight PAC next whatever the result of PAC-Cotto...
