IF it had been Mtagwa being hit like Lopez was those last rounds the match would have been stopped...

I was watching it live, and tabulating scores was the furthest ****ing thing from my mind.

That said, the round split should have been close. Lopez edging it with the KD is fine (though Mtagwa possibly earned a 10-8 round of his own without one) but 116-111 is gay.

I had it for lopez, literally just watched it and don't know how he held on the last 2 rounds he showed massive heart when others would have gone down. I'm glad he didnt just walk through someone again, mtagwa deserves credit for making lopez fight his fight and never stopped looking to win. Rematch??

Mtwaga easily won the fight 8 rounds to 4. I had him winning the fight with his pressure and aggression alone. A few rounds should've gone 10-8 in his favor.

Sounds like selective scoring for Mtagwa. Lopez won fairly clearly, even though it was a close fight. He has it by two points. It's only thr last two rounds that make people think he lost. Same as one fighter getting knocked down seems to encourage people to score every round after for the fighter who scored it.

Personally, I had Lopez winning 114-112

Lopez: winning the Rounds 1-6 and Round 9 with the knockdown in Round 5
    Mtagwa: winning Rounds 7 + 8 and 10 - 12 with 10-8 for the last round

Any close round for Mtagwa during Rounds 1-6 was the 3th round, but the Lopez threw 41/85 Total Punches that round and Mtagwa threw 16/58 punches.

I was at the fight and had Juanma winning by 3 pts but Rogers was a much tougher man than most thought he would be imo. The Gamboa fight was a belter too.

I have downloaded the fight and will watch it again later today.

LOPEz won the fight, but he lost his aura, his credibility as a superstar... no excuses 4 that poor performance!

I got Lopez by a point.

Based on the way he finished I could see it the other way.

He fought the dumbest fight he could have possibly fought.

How many amateur fights did he have? All of sudden he forgets that he has a jab and head movement.

There should be a rematch now.
