Do you think David Haye's eventually bound to be given a humility lesson in the ring?

I don't consider him a honest person, just look at how he was clowning the Klitschkos and saying that he's a better heavyweight, but based on what? Certainly not accomplishments.

You expect Haye to tell the whole world that he does not believe he is the best fighter. It is for us to decide based on accomplishments who is the best not the fighters them selfs because they need to keep their confidence high by believing that stuff.

As for the Kilits Haye was getting raped in the contract negotiations so you have to factor that in. If Haye was no threat why did they insist on options and a 3 fight rematch clause???

You can tell the whole world you are the best fighter without childish insults. Those contracts were BS, and I'm sure they see him as somewhat of a threat. Going by your reasoning above though, I can flip it around and say that if Haye really believed he was the best, he would have taken the Vitali fight.

If he really did beleive he was the best he should have taken the Vitali fight no doubt there.

He may get past Valuev and I dont think he will rush to fight the Klitschko's unless the money is too strong but who will he defend against after Ruiz if he wins..Boystov, Povetkin tough fights for him

Haye is a proven coward. He lied when he said he would fight Klitschkos.

Look at Haye's weight and physique 3 yrs ago. Oh, don't tell me...he's matured and also hard training and sports nutrition right?....
Steroids and GH are rife in the HW division for God's sake. Only a naive mug would state otherwise.

Ridiculous. During his contract negotiations he was buzzing in training about getting a title shot and being in the limelight. He was devastated when the fight was called off. It was due to an injury and possibly the shocking contract tie ins. Haye is many things but a coward he is not. Haye is a professional fighter with confidence and arrogant self belief, he wouldn't hype a fight, have press conferences and then run away.

"IF" he beats Valuev then he will fight one of the Klitschkos for big money and with more strength to negotiate with a better contract. But I think its a big "IF" for who is essentially still a chinny Cruiserweight. :boxx

I don't know about Haye being taught a lesson by Valuev but I do feel as though he'll be troubled by the sheer size of the Russian and may very well end up losing as a result. Valuev's repertoire isn't diverse by any means but the man is stubbornly persistent. In other words, he only does a few things as far as punch variation (none of which is aesthetically pleasing mind you) but he doesn't stop and his chin always buys him 12 rounds. How is Haye going to react when he's landed his bombs only to see that they've had no effect on Valuev? I want to see what type of mental toll this takes on Haye as the fight progresses cuz therein lies your answer of who will win. Valuev isn't going to do anything different than he's ever done. He's the same guy every time out.

I wish Haye would tone down some of the more adolescent comments, but at least he's trying to build a buzz.

Also, he's at least proven himself as an elite cruiser - Dirrell's best win is... Hanshaw. Hanshaw!

    Rubbish :nono

Haye in between his fights at Cruiser was at about 225lbs, its his more natural weight and he had to boil down to the Cruiser limit. All he is now is not having to shed of every single ounce of fat he has on him, and its not hard to add muscle with the right diet and training. I added 30lbs in a year through hard work and a good diet, so i think your the mug here.
