Haye was the bigger guy in his best wins at cruiser. He fought nervous against Barrett, who was his own size. Now he needs to come with a completely different style against a guy who is more than a foot taller than Mormeck or Fragomeni, his best opponents so far. Of course it could be done, but Haye only has 23 pro fights and certainly hasn't looked like a developed fighter in his last outing. I think his inactivity could easily cost him the fight against Valuev.

I think moneymatt isn't far out here. I'm going for a late Haye stoppage. Valuev is utter shite. The Heavyweights need a Haye win. Love him or hate him at least his fights are watchable.

Valuev is horrible, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Much as I want him to win, Valuev doesnt have the best chin. He has been in trouble before with mediocre opposition- I think Haye will KO the beast.

That is indeed a worry but ( for once ) Haye actually seems to realise he might have a problem in front of him, I excpect to see a much more considered performance from him.

Is a stoppage by body shot out of question. What if HAYE Lands hard bombs to Vals liver?

Nope, we don't need a fighter who lands one fight in five negotiations, as Haye did in 2009. We need someone who will most likely step into the ring when he says he will. Ali wouldn't have been interesting if he fought with Haye's frequency.

A late stoppage sounds right to me - Haye should be able to get to him and Valuev's heart probably isn't in to taking much of a beating. No highlight ko though; Nick may drop from accumulation/fatigue/giving up, but his head isn't spinning around.

One thing's for sure, Haye NEEDS this win. Just not sure he'll get it, myself... If he loses, Haye wll have a long road ahead of him if he ever wants to become HW champ.

If David Haye cant knock Valuev out then he sure retire and shut the **** up forever. If he loses he should disappear to some cave somewhere and destroy all record of his existence.
Valuev is one of the worst "champions" ever.

Valuev gets a lot of credit for "chin" but he's been fighting ****-weak opposition.
An aging Ruiz, Monte Barrett, ancient Holyfield, Chagaev, an OLD Larry Donald, injured McCline - where are all the big power punchers he's shown his "granite chin" against ??
Usually his fights are too slow and awful to feature much real hard punching from either side.

Valuev's body is deteriorating at an an alarming rate - his condition (acromegaly) has caused so much damage that I am surprised he is still fighting. His joints are screwed and he is losing mobility.

Despite the pretty boy image, Haye is a nasty ******* and enjoys dishing out hurt.

Expect a stoppage from the Hayemaker.

If Haye does knock Valuev down, I can't envision him getting back up.
This fight is really hard to call. Valuev may not be good, but he's a giant. You can't count out anyone that massive, especially against someone who is a lot smaller.

Valuev's power has deteriorated - I don't believe he can knock Haye out.
