Mayweather vs. Pacquiao has to happen. Pacquiao is stronger, faster, and better than Floyd(according to Castillo), as well as younger. Mayweather would also be an easier fight for Pacquiao than Cotto(according to Roach). Given all this, and given that Pac is a 2/1 favorite over Cotto, Mayweather should be a significant underdog to Pac. Mayweather would be facing a real uphill battle.

People want to see Mayweather challenge himself. This would be a perfect opportunity. He would be facing a guy that is younger, faster, stronger, and better than him. He would also be facing a 7 weight champ(assuming that the ring title is counted as a real championship and also assuming Pac beats Cotto), who is considered the best fighter on the planet(in terms of p4p rankings), and who would arguably be the best WW in the world(assuming he beats Cotto, who holds a victory over Mosely, who is considered by many to be the top WW). This would be a fight that every true fight fan should be demanding.

 

no, no i based my prediction on your words not speculation, when you said floyd is faster, smarter stronger better skillfull fighter than jmm, what will someone like floyd to do pacman, he will counter him all night just like jmm did to him but because floyd got better skills he will destroy pacman.

 

damm you got in the mood, i really want to see that fight. that would a awesome march mega super super fight showdown, only problem is roach wont let it happen and so wont arum he knows floyd will give pacman boxign lesson all night and pacman does have enough defense or boxing skill to hurt floyd.

jmm maybe be slower but he has the better boxing skills, he took advantage over pacman poor defense.

Floyd is alot stronger today as a full fledged WW than he was when he fought Castillo at 135

 

it's proven that PAC's combination of superior speed and power is better than having JMM's boxing skills.... PAC is #1 P4P while JMM is #5 P4P...

actually before floyd skooled jmm, jmm was 3rd in the p4p ranking if not 2nd. and some people think jmm beat pacman in there fights not jmm fans but just general boxing fans, so the p4p ranking would be a lot different if that was the case. even tho i thin pac is a great courageous fihter, his opponent were picked very very well, first move to lw you had david diaz he was only paper champ nothing much at all level b- fighter, then you had oscar who was weight drained old raison if you disagree just watch the fight oscar did even use his legendary jab in the fight after 2 rounds that old and tired for ya. then ricky hatton who was done after floyd was finshed with him (i am big ricky hatton fan but got to tell the truth) and it was proven when ricky was having hard time with level b- fighterz. so thats how pac got to the top which is impresive in one angle he fought people above him but then if you look closer they wernt much champs, some were weight drained (which i consider same as fighting person smaller than you, your just taking advantage of weight, oscar wasnt at welter in along time and going down in weight alot at 36 wont work). am not a pacman hater i think he is good fighter, i wouldnt miss his fights,

 

HAHA. He was number 2 before floyd fought him. You left that part out.

Pac is only number 1 now because he aint fought cotto yet. You do know if cotto beats him he drops to number 2.
