For me Jermain Taylor's done! AA will finish him worser and quicker then Froch, he ain't winning a decision with is stamina issue's against a guy who comes alive in the latter rounds & he ain't KOin AA thats for damn sure.

The guy couldn't make small guys like Cory and Kassim even blink. Abraham has a very good defence with those earmulfs on and the guy is just strong as an ox whilst also being one mean ******* lol

Not to mention Taylor's been tested, molested, used and abused he just seems to have a lot of charactor flaws and lack of awareness...it'd be interesting to see if he's changed any of his training methods, he said he has in that fightcamp 360 but that might just be whispering in the graveyard. I think his diet of swine chops definitely has something to do with it. lol

You're save from that beanie hat meal Kosaros lol...because like I said Taylor ain't knocking out Abraham no way. People say Taylor hasn't got power and thats why he hasn't KO'd a live opponent in a long long time.

However i think he does have KO power. The problem is he doesn't sit down on his punches. He throws his punches just on pure God giving strength with no conviction behind them. He also always seems to make the wrong decision like punching himself out against Pavlik or Letting Froch of the hook after the knockdown and thats why he's a very poor finisher.

Abraham chin is solid, he carries alotta pop with a good guard and puts punches together very well. The only question marks are that he's not a big guy himself now moving up to 168 so I'm not sure how quick he's stopping anybody plus he starts at a very slow pace and tempo.

which gives Taylor a slightly better chance of a decision as there always remains the possibility of Taylor banking rounds because of AA inactivity and then the AA rally coming too little too late, plus AA looked tiny in those photos next to Froch and the boys.

I've got AA stoppage late, Taylor gassing as usual with the scorecards very close, getting cought with a big shot, walking himself to the ropes and then KO'd.

If Abraham catches Taylor with a big punch, could be a real problem for Taylor. However, Abraham should not give away lots of rounds.

I think Abraham will work his way to a decision win by a couple of rounds in an entertaing scrap.

Good fight this, and close to boot (assuming the step up in weight has no effect on AA).

Personally, I think Taylor will outbox AA. He needs to conserve some energy though for the later rounds. He's been in with punchers before and while his chin is not granite, it's certainly good enough for him to get through a scare. Any more than that though and he's in trouble.

I'm going Taylor on points but with a massive possibility of AA KO. Cant see AA taking a points win in any circumstance.

This in Germany?! I just assumed it was in the states!

    Yup, edit, AA on points.

  9. As much as im looking forward to this fight people have forgot one small detail, this fight is in GERMANY, you need to win by ko over there, ive said abraham to win by ko as i think taylor will gas out and get nailed. But even if he fights the fight of a lifetime, unless he gets ko he will not win...

I don't think Germany is that much worse than the States to be fair..... this isn't a Universum promotion remember.

I'm leaving this fight well and truly alone, looking forward to watching it in the arena come Saturday night.

If Abraham has one of his slow starts, Taylor can bank rounds without expending too much energy.... and perhaps have enough at the back end.

  11. Sturm got done not so long back and won, reid/ottke, valuev/holyfield(universum) those are instant examples mate, you need a revolver there mate to win on points!!!

As you say tho, cant wait to watch it in the arena, its being shown at 10pm live in the arena.

That was my point...... Universum promotions tend to feature more dodgy judging than Sauerland ones - IMO of course.

  13. whos sturm with i thought sauerland?

hopefully there will be so much attention on this fight that a dodgy gift decision (in theory) wont happen. valuev v holyfield was the worst decision ive seen for a long time, split decision would have been questionable but acceptable but wide ud! no chance

Sturm was with Universum at the time of the Gevor fight.

They have since parted company :good

Valuev vs Holyfield was a bit of a joke I agree.
