I'm sorry but Felix Trinidad = one the most overrated fighters in recent history.

It seems you're rating him mostly above his best weight (147). Yeah he was slow footed but it became much more pronounced as he moved up. He was a great fighter at 147. De La Hoya would've been stopped if he'd have not run his ass off the last four rounds. Tito beat a lot of good fighters at 147.

 

the guy lost EVERY single big fight he was in except the DLH fight. He was an overrated Glass Jawed joke.

It's possible for someone to be considered good and an ATG, but still overrated.

In my honest opinion, nothing personal against the guy, I do believe Tito is a little overrated.

what big fights did he win? Besides the DLH fight? And not to mention his plaster wraps which were exposed against Hopkins. And his Chin was AWFUL and that is being polite.

 

Once Hopkins took away Trinidad's left hook, Trinidad has NOTHING. He was so one-dimensional that Hopkins could see what Trinidad was going to do before he did it. He was very one-dimensional and before getting exposed, completely overrated. Aslo very predicatable.

I think making lists about championships, numbers, etc, is meaningless. The opposition you fought and beat is the only think that counts. People start going on and on about all of these different accomplishments, but all that counts is who you fought and beat or at least how well you did against them even in losing.

 

Nobody who was a boxing fan during Trinidad's peak would dare say this.
