"I already know some things that I did wrong both in the fight and in the preparation for the fight, but there are many questions that remain to be answered. I am seriously thinking about hiring a psychiatrist to help me out. I have already made some calls about it."

    :sad2 ...he should've retired in 2006...

Crop Cop will always be competitive at contender level and could put a string of wins together.

Its real easy in in 2009 to say Mirko should have retired in 2006. I know people like to think otherwise now since he has been beat up a few times in the UFC but in September 2006 he smashed Wanderlei and Barnett in the same night to win the OWGP and was considered to be the best verison of Cro Cop ever and ready for a Fedor rematch. Why should he have retired then when it appeared he could accomplish so much more ? The UFC Heavyweight Championship was basically handed to him on this forum and every other forum in early 2007.

As a huge Cro Cop fan, I can only say, "Hang them up already, Mirko." He's been saying how he needs to get his "head back in the game" and get his mental edge back for the last five or six fights. Then he says that he found his fire, had a great training camp, and comes in and loses again. It's over for him at this point. He's gun shy, and I don't see that changing. Cro Cop at his peak was a striker worthy of fear. His opponents were wary, and Cro Cop attacked with vicious punches and kicks. Now, he sits back and waits and waits and waits. Meanwhile, he takes punishment.

Simply put, he needs to call it a career.

  10. 1 more fight, out with a bang like hopkins shoulda.

    his career is over though.

Only way CroCop can win now if someone shoots him up with some PCP so he becomes absolutely fearless and not gun shy and goes for the kill. Sadly he is done, in all sports the mental aspect is extremely important, if you lose it up there, you can't be the same ever again.

Cro Cop needs freedie roach :good

his boxing is under rated, being that he is a 40-5 amateur boxer and labeled himself as coming from a boxing background. i don't see why he can't just get a well credential boxing coach to teach him how to feint better and decelop a good jab to set up that head kick?:thumbsup
