Kessler will walk Ward down and knock him out. Ward will be retreating from the start. He does not have anything to phase Kessler with. Ward will break down sooner-or-later.

He's not a bad fighter, but Kessler will mess him up.

Using the word "smash" is quite amusing.

The word "Smash him" reminds me of the Lacy hype before the Calzaghe fight! I`m pretty certain Ward wont smash anyone in this tournament, but he have a fair chance to win! But i think Kessler will be to much in the first fight, if he beats Kessler he will get all the credit he deserves from me.. but not before!

Ward is not feather fisted...He is improving each fight still. If find a target frequently he would knock Kessler out. Will it be a brutal KO? No...but it is a likely scenario...

 

A Ward Ko vs anyone is the most unlikely scenario i can imagine in this tournament. He's not featherfisted, he just doesn't commit to his punches beyond obvious openings in defense, much like Mayweather Jr or Winky Wright, both of whom have power but opt not to use it because it leaves them exposed.

Even still, as Calzaghe proved, it doesnt take much power to make Kessler change his tune.

 

Ward is counting on cheating to win. His venue, his ring, his referee, his judges and his commentators to tell you who is winning, but Kessler will knock him out, then the judges will puke!

 

As you say this on every Ward thread, I figure you're the best to ask, have they announced the refs and judges already? Link...?

If anything, Kessler will smash Ward with his superior power and jab. If Ward wins, it wont be by smashing, rather by competitive decision in a tactical battle.
