If froch wins super 6 without losing would he already surpass calzaghe legacy?

Calzaghe smashed 3 legends in Eubank, Jones and Hopkins, 3 of the ATG from their divisions.

Froch would have on hell of a resume, but he will never be Calzaghe.

Beating great fighters in their prime > beating legends past their prime

 

All three of those fighter where past there prime. The only wins that matter in his career are Jeff Lacey and Mikkel Kessler and Hopkins(still P4P player)

In other words close but not yet I think he would have to defend his title a couple of times after winning this Tourney.

 

Eubank was a great fighter, and always in shape, Calzaghe was green.

Hopkins was prime, look how he decimated Pavlik a top 10 p4p, Hop himself was p4p 3.

RJJ was slightly past his best, but still had all his speed and reflexes, we have to remember, Joe himself was no spring chicken and lost his KO power due to brittle hands, he beat Hop and RJJ on boxing skill alone.
