win or lose it seems Arum wants to set up Cotto vs Margo rematch on cinco de mayo

Arum said he wants to put MArgo in a tuneup in Feb and then put him in against Cotto on cinco de mayo. I would love to see this rematch.

As a Cotto fan I want to see him avenge this loss. If I was Cotto I would train the **** out of it just so he will KO Margo and get him back from what some people feels he did in their last fight. Actually, fight Margo on 5 de mayo but do it in Puerto Rico!!

 

The problem with cinco de mayo is rallying the Mexican fans behind Margo again. Who wants to support a cheater??

 

Better off doing it in Madison square before Porto Rican day parade. Make Margo the villan and feed him to Lions...

 

Let me be the first to say that margarito will beat cotto by ko.....margarito might be the best pressure fighter in boxing and if it wasnt for the whole handwrap thing ppl would be demandin that him and mayweather fights...or at least i would

 

Cotto is my favorite fighter but style wise marg is a bad matchup for him loaded gloves are not. Did you see how big marg was come fight night compared to cotto. Cotto would have to change his gameplan and not use so much movement sort of like mosley did. The only problem with that is and I dont want to come off like I'm racist is that I noticed most PR and Mexican fighters dont like to clinch as a part of strategy but only when they get seriously hurt. In most cases thats a great thing it takes balls to fight your out of a tough spot. But in Cotto's case he would have to slow margs momentum and I dont think he can do that with just constant movement. Just like in the last fight he would be tired by the 4th round. If Cotto can bring himself to clinch more to slow down Marg he can do the same thing mosley did but probaly quicker.

 

I could care less the fight was that good I want to see a rematch call me greedy or what ever but we dont get alot of fights like that now and days with these saftey first business fighters...........

Margarito is a known cheater. He does not deserve a rematch.

Best pressure fighter? Didn't help him with Mosley. He is a cheater and he will get exposed again in his tune-up fight and will definitely lose to Cotto if they ever meet again. I wish that the rematch does not happen due to his cheating and giving him a big payday, but I am sure Cotto wants to get payback and avenge his only loss.

 

I think Cotto wants the rematch, he's also a different fighter now, and after seeing how easily Mosley broke Margarito, im sure he will come in with a better game-plan. I predict Cotto to win by tko. Margarito is finished

 

But Cotto deserves the chance to beat Margarito in a fight that is guaranteed to be fair.
