Jones has hit some form again of late and as for b-hop.... didn't he cause the damage shown in your avatar???? calzaghe was not prime in those two fights either.

fighters are judged by who they fought and when.

And Joe's fans act like he didn't blatantly duck Chad Dawson either!!, even when Chad said HE WOULD FIGHT JOE IN HIS OWN BACKYARD!! , imo Joe is like this generations Marciano, he has more skill of course but their records are just the same, full of bums and a few legends way past their prime.

agree its a bit unrealistic talking about dirrell that way now, but its equally unrealistic for you to defend calzaghe by referring to "look what happened".

we did see what happened, hence the criticism.

But Joe didn't fight anyone with the kind of height, youth, reach, speed, switch hitting ability and movement that Dirrell has though.. lets be honest here!! :deal.

So let me get this straight, when Froch compares himself to all time greats, that's funny, but when Dirrell says he would beat Calzaghe, he's a typical brash, arrogant American?

Froch and Haye are the two biggest smack talking, arrogant ****s in boxing today. Those two make Andre Dirrell look like a ****ing introvert.

Dirrell said he would "beat Calzaghe's ass", Froch didn't say that about Leonard, Hearns etc although it's still a joke.

if you want to be honest dirrell needs to learn to walk before he can run.
the biggest worry for me about dirrell from the little ive seen of him is that he'll bring his showboating to this tournament.

he needs to be smart, win rounds and pace himself to prove hes also a disciplined fighter.

    love his confidence though.
