Really I think thats the only concern he has coming into the fight.

I dont know if he has ever over trained before but I hear that he has started his camp early and is taking the fight more seriously then any other fight which is right but just wondering if blow his load before he gets in the ring ..

    ??

Nah i dont think so. His trainer and condition coach has stated several times that they will make sure he doesnt peak too soon. Hes a professional. He'll be alright.

Well hes shown some vulnerability to being weight drained. I hope its not a factor either. Dam Freddie Roach for making a welterweight fighter defend his title at a lower weight. Im sure the extra camp is only related to staying on weight, but yes it could very well be a factor. Fighters usually peak at a certain time, and hopefully Cotto wont leave it all in the gym.

I'm sure this will be one of the many excuses when he loses.

Cotto has recently come in at 146, he only has another pound to lose to make weight, I mean, why come in at 146 if you don't have to?

I'm sure he can manage it without compromising too much or overtraining.

If he loses then that's probably going to be the excuse made by his fans and supporters.

I don't think Cotto will be over trained for this fight. Pac and Cotto are great pros and you won't hear any excuses from them. As far as some fans are concerned when it comes to excuses, that's a whole different matter.

he was sparring with Frankie J, I mean Frankie Figueroa....I think "over-training" shouldn't be too much of a concern. He's certaintly taking the fight very seriously, you want to do that but taking it tooooo seriously can affect your mental preparation in the ring

what about his fans, especially here at ESB? i know that most of his fans here are very respectable but there's always atleast one who isn't. i'm sure that IF cotto loses, we will be hearing excuses. and it works both ways
